  1. I think you're talking about the knuckle. Take a picture of what you're talking about, post it.
  2. I got mine from www.motosport.com They were the cheapest place I found at the time. I think someone sells refurbished ones on eBay, with some kind of warranty. Buy from a dealer and you break, ASV replaces. I got the silver ones. They look good IMO.
  3. No shit. The rubber can still seperate and something could grab it. I've also been plugging tires for many years, and know how to do it very well. I've plugged many tractor trailer tires with 115psi in them, and felt comfortable with it. That's the first time I've ever had one come out. The guy wanted to know of a different way to do it, so a patch is a different way. No need for you to be an asshole.
  4. CPI's are drag pipes. And if you get Toomey's, from what I've read, don't get the T-6's, get the T-5's. You plan on only riding tracks? What kind? MX or flat track?
  5. I disagree to an extent. Plugs do work, most of the time. But, Banshee's tend to spin, and spin, and spin the rear tires. I had plugs in a couple different spots on my HoleShots that I had. They were in there for at least 3 months. Then one day, one of them decided to catch on something and rip right out. And yes, plug glue was used. Now, because of a fluke, you're left stranded and have to walk a couple miles to your truck. Not fun. That's why I recommend patches.
  6. Jeff sells them. I don't know if he ships internationally, though. CPI's and Shearer pipes are mostly for top end power. If you want something for all around, I would go with either Toomey T-5's or some FMF's. I have FMF SST expansion chambers with FMF PowerCore II silencers. Good power throughout the entire range. CPI's would give me lots more top end, but I would lose bottom end. I'm debating on switching to CPI's, because of that. They are excellent for racing, though.
  7. I started writing about plug patches, but I wasn't sure anyone would know what the hell I was talking about. Here ya go. http://store.go-fast-parts.com/5709517.html
  8. Plugs are a quick and easy fix. They work, but there are other methods. Personally, I like to bust the bead, and put a patch on the inside. You don't have to worry about it ripping out, or leaking. If you have a bead tool, or two really big screwdrivers, that's what I would do.
  9. Nissan used to have a 4cyl that had 8 spark plugs. It was called the Z-24 engine. I think the purpose of it was for one to hit on the compression stroke, and one on the exhaust stroke, to make sure you were burning all of the fuel in the cylinder. It doesn't make sense why you would put one on a Banshee, because don't they already fire on the up and down strokes? Plus, I'm sure you would have to get Trinity's Stage IV coil packs and wires. Who knows what other electrical you would have to upgrade. Probably have to get a different flywheel, stator, pickup, and anything else involved.
  10. The 08's are still on the Europe site. Maybe they think it's just too early to start releasing the 09's. http://www.yamaha-motor-europe.com/product...sure/yfz350.jsp
  11. He's kidding. Lose the thing, man.
  12. I also have a 421cc motor. I have 2, 35mm Keihin's, with a Boss Racing intake with built in crossover, and it runs and burns great. Unless you ride strictly trail, ditch the 2 into 1. It's mainly for more bottom end. And, I doubt you bought a Cheetah monoblock for trails. As far as exhaust, what are your intentions with the bike? MX, GNCC, Drag?
  13. What kind and ratio oil are you using?
  14. and then I'd take him to the best 5 star seafood restaurant money can buy. You owe him, bigtime. Hell, if I were you, I might even loan my wife to him for an hour.
  15. Yea, good thing for awsome neighbors. You got lucky on that one. I live in a pretty nice neighborhood where I know all of my neighbors, and I still refuse to leave my bike outside, unattended or at least not chained to something. You never know when some shitbag from somewhere else is gonna wonder into your hood. He obviously knew what was under that tarp.
  16. If you do decide to build your bike from the ground up, here's some websites that I used during my build. Hopefully they can help you out. http://www.durablue.com/products.php http://lrdperformance.com/live/ http://www.prodesignracing.com/main.htm http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.do http://www.motosport.com/offroad/index.php http://www.onoffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT http://webforce.nwrain.net/founder/cascade...TORE_DEPT_ID=22 http://www.whiteknuckleracing.com/index.ht...;target=d3.html http://www.marvinshawshocks.com/ http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/index.asp http://www.goldenwestcycle.com/ http://www.prm-atv.com/ http://www.ohtonracing.com/bansheeproducts.htm http://www.bansheedepot.com/products.asp?pg=7 http://www.cpindinc.com/ http://www.burgardcycle.com/index.htm http://www.directdrivecnc.net/banqcm.html http://www.pingelonline.com/ http://www.keihincarbs.com/
  17. Is it all stock? Or, does it have some mods?
  18. Best thing I ever bought was a GPS. Mine constantly checks for construction, traffic, and accidents, and will re-route you to avoid it. If you ever spend your money on one, get a Garmin. Best money can buy.
  19. I have all silver on mine. I like it, makes it look clean IMO. I have recently cut my front fenders, which makes look 10x's better. Lots of cleaning and polishing has been done since this pic was taken. I'll try to remember to get a new one up tomorrow for ya.
  20. If you can open the bleeder, and it retracts, I would have to say replace the master cylinder. First eliminate the brake line by trying to bleed off the pressure at the master cylinder. If the piston retracts by doing that, definitely replace the master cylinder.
  21. Just got rid of mine this past weekend, when I tore my whole bike down and put it back together for a major PM.
  22. ItzaBansheeBitch, This was in his first post.
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yji8-Jv5rF0
  24. I'm a big fan of polished aluminum. But, I like your new color. Flows good with the rest of the bike.
  25. No, no, no. I'm not about being aroung a bunch of idiots either. I would just like to be able to visit a PLACE like that on the reg. Our dunes are like 20 feet tall, and illegal to ride on. You walk on them, and you catch a $500 fine. You mean the 17 year old???????????? Well, I guess she was ALMOST 18. lol.
