  1. Damn, man. Guess that means you ain't going to Coal Fest. Bump for ya, and good luck with the sale.
  2. Steel wool cleans up pipes nice. It won't hurt the chrome at all. I usually get it at Home Depot.
  3. You could, but it's gonna make your squish tighter. Depending on how much they need to machine, your pistons might hit the domes. So, you'd have to get the domes cut too. Oh, and if you machine one, you have to machine the other to the same deck height. If not, your head will not sit flat, and you'll probably have water/compression leaks.
  4. Did anybody catch the 17CFM domes in the coolhead, and 15CFM stock head? I will never understand why people still say their motor is ported and POLISHED.
  5. You pinched an o-ring. Pull it off, and try again. It might be leaking into the cylinder too. That's not good.
  6. I usually put around in like 3rd or 4th gear, at about 2,500rpm. Just enough to keep air flowing through the radiator.
  7. What kind of oil are you using in the cases?
  8. The clutch isn't disengaging all the way. Like fastbanshee8 said, or it's adjusted too tight.
  9. Yea, why? You gonna show me how to start out in 6th gear?
  10. There's part of your problem. The topend is shot.
  11. Yup, That's what I've had to do on occasion. It's just the oil creating a suction on the plates and fibers when it sits for a little while. Kind of like when you stick your foot in mud, and it makes a suction and is hard to get out. No biggie.
  12. So, it's popping out of gear, and then slamming back in gear. And when it happens, it's obviously making a hell of a noise, because the cogs slamming into each other. I've never seen that happen personally. I'm trying to think what would cause it. Are you sure your foot isn't barely hitting the shifter, and making it get between gears? Do you have a modded shift star?
  13. If it ain't making grinding noises, or sounding like teeth are skipping, I'd say it's a clutch problem. How old it your clutch? Is it adjusted right? EDIT: I just read the last sentence. I wonder if your shift shaft or a fork is bent.
  14. I use Wiseco in everything from my Banshee to my big block Chevy. I swear by them.
  15. You mean, would Kim take your call? Hell yea, man. He's good people. If it's his portwork, I know he'll help you out, on getting it right.
  16. I'm curious now. Go do it again in the morning, and have someone video it. Post it up here.
  17. Oh, and if you need some stock shocks, I'll throw them the box for $75 shipped for everything, including the clutch cover. Shocks and cover are in great shape.
  18. I got a stock clutch cover, with gasket, oil dipstick, water pump, bearing, gear, water pump cover. I'll give it all to you for $45 shipped.
  19. Ain't no corner store car mechanic machine shops around here. These are 30 and 40 year old shops, that do nothing but engines all day, everyday. Most of them are ran by large companies, with the most high tech shit on the market. I've never had a crooked bore come from any machine shop around here. You can pay $45 all you want. I'll pay $30 less, and get the same perfection.
  20. Are your axle bearing on the verge of seizing up? How hard is it to push in neutral? Have you always had that rich of jets? That seems kinda fat to me. Have you talked to Kim at K&T about your jetting?
  21. I'm just jerkin your chain, man. Try starting in 2nd. Are you spinning? That's the biggest problem with Banshee's. They have horrible traction. He was pulling away in 6th?
