banshee should take the win i didt it with gnarly pipes and 2nd gear starts ,.... you should have no problem if you bike is tunned good ..

since the begining i have been buying, selling , and riding banshees. and i have watched all the prices also over the years... i feel strongly that the prices are going to slowly climb. it's only normal. the less there are the more they are worth. unlike the 250r that died out with the making of four stroke mx motors, the banshee is a dune champion, and is very a versatile machine ... trail , mx, dune, drag .... whatever .... you get my drift.. the banshee is a legened , and we all know this .. and it will be around for a long time...

Welcome to the site ! make sure you mix the gas right with this being your first 2 stroke , "get a measuring cup" makes it ez and never guess! Enjoy the site , there is a ton of info , about everything on here !!! search before you post, the question was probly asked before!

rejet and go 40 to 1 and you will be good to go ..

who sells : exhaust plugs that you stick in the tips to pervent water from going down in the pipes (they have the flag that say's remove before flight)? i have seen them before , just cannot remember what web site i saw them on ?

be ready for a melt down sooner or later with that ratio. might be ok for light trail riding , but if you start opening it up it will not be enough ! best of luck , but dont beleive everything you read on bottles. f.u.i. --> so you know black and wet plugs are not from your ratio, its because your bike is too rich , not because your running to much oil !! if almost everyone is using 32 to or richer why would you think 60 to 1 is ok? (thats a wead wacker ratio)

do you still have the tors on it ? DEF a carb problem / sounds like its not getting any fuel ... pull both plugs and leave them in the spark plug boot next to the head and kick it to make sure your getting spark. but is sounds like its not getting fuel

i agree with this reply 100% , also 60 to 1 ? 40 to 1 or 32 to 1 would be right for you. and if you ever increase your compression or adj timing you will def need to increase the octane. your bike could be pinging and you will never hear it over the pipes !

i am getting ride of my twist throttle on one of my banshees, (stock carb) i wanna go with a new cable and top tors elimators. i allready have the idle adjusters drilled and tapped from the twist set up. what kit should i get .. i need asap. !! i have a good twist throttle for sale to .. complete (new condition, one trip to glamis) or trade? what company sells a good complete tors elimator kit ? (i had a tors elimator with my twist setup) now i need a thumb setup

ethanol is not a good burning fuel , the highway patrol near me dont even wanna use it . they say the milage got worse and the cars have a loss of power ... our bikes are not meant to be "green " as they call it ..
