same here doc , our camp will be there days before us .. we are getting there on the 11th ,, and we are staying till the 16th ..

sorry i might of not said it right.. your going in the right direction , what i meant was the air there alows you to make alot more power , so yes you can richen it up alot . if you dont it will run lean ... how much you have to richen it i am not sure ... i would def talk to a tunner .... i know we go a few sizes on our 2 strokes .. and we are at sea level now.. you are 5500 ft ... do your homework ... contact a few good 4 stroke tunners .. hey too bad is not a Fuel Injected ...lol

got ya ... i am more into the drags and the dune riding .... drink beer ... lol my silver bike is alittle of everything .. if i were going to do big long runs i would bring my yfz450 .. first time going there so well have to see what i need to bring ...

no your going to the oppisite climate .. your at 5500 ft elevation, glamis has to be 0ft or below 100ft. plus the humidity makes a hudge difference tooo . . you going to need alot more jetting than that !!! dont run the bike lean you will blow it up!!

go with sand sharks more of an everything tire .. .. the tires you are looking at are more designed for strait line , also you have a fourstroke so i would go with a little taller tire , you have the low end to turn them !! guys what do you think ? also the higher octaine fuel dont keep it cooler, it just keeps you from blowing up your engine , due to the under sea level and the 10 % humidity !! you have to rejet it fat ...........

dont even bother lugging a set of tires around , we are going to have a sick time with paddles at all the spots . you have videos from ocotillo wells ?

helmet is the best spot for a camera it will see what you see.. plus it would be alot clearer... your head is the most stable thing . how much time can you get out of that camera with a 2 gig sd card ? we are looking to get one or 2 cameras for glamis 2 .

you do not need dirt tires ! paddles allday every day ..... what types of terrain do you think we are going to hit in the dunes !! we are riding to el Centro.. thats close to mexico , six pack rack with a 2 gallons of gas will keep us good all day ..

whats the fuel situation there? i know we need 55 gal drums of VP ! something over the 89 octaine they sell out there.. we need 94 or better ... joe what do you think .. ?

the registration is for the frame. thats fine , i am asking if everyone needs it ? i have one bike thats registered . and one thats not . so if the bikes have to be registered i have to let everyone know ??? not sure if they have to be ! just the stickers they give you there .. ? anyone know ?
