Run prestone antifreeze, 50/50 with water. the antifreeze will keep from freezing and keep the waterpump well lubricated!! strait water is no good for the average bike. you can add a water wetter to antifreeze /water combo also. but the water wetter does work better with strait water. only recomend using water and water wetter if its a drag race bike that is going to get short time usages. if your bike runs hot with regular antifreeze you have to look further into the bike, wronge - timing-fuel-clogged radiator- bad impeller(in water pump)- .. Sometimes if your bike spitts antifreeze out from the overflow hose its not running hot ! Its a bad head gasket or bad radiator cap!! hope this helps !!! bored @ work so i figured i would put my 2 cents in !! lol ---- and yes she does ride a banshee ... lol

i had a milled head on my banshee's for years, never a problem , gives you a little more compression and keeps some extra money in your pocket. i just swiched to a cool head a few months ago, just to keep from any head gasket problems while in glamis. Glamis and heavy duty dune riding puts alot of stress (load) on a bike. I have had no problems with the cool head either. the cool head will give you a little more compression over the milled head and a better seal. Just use correct domes (vito's will let you know what you need). if you increase you compression you will need higher octaine fuel . i used the vito's hemi head ! comes with new nuts and uses factory studs!! Worked out great.. rode in glamis for 7 days without a problem ! If your just doijng regular riding just mill the head. if you plan on going to the dunes with paddles go with the cool head just to save yourself the trouble.

when we buy drums of vp racing fuel, vp tells you after you break the seal that you have few months till the octaine starts to drop off. so the same will apply for you, the octain will drop off after a few months. it all depends on your engine ! Use it in the weedwacker !! FYI : batterys that sit on the floor go dead just as fast as batterys on a peice of wood... (mythbusters "busted myth") lolll so put your batterys anywhere just out of the cold! :thumbsup:

change the needle and ceat !!! ... do both sides the other will be next (its just as old), get vito's or orignal needle and ceats they are the best!! this is your problem!

drop your bikes to the floor by replace the shocks with pipes and drill them out the the arms sit strait, then cut your front fenders off ('race cut). pick up a little , and tuck yourself way in... check your tire pressure, pump them up alittle (change your ratio and little less traction) ... you wanna try and spin alittle so you dont bog down your bike will leave like a prostock car when its droped ... in the street the tires will spin and you will be gone .... but at the track it will still hook because of all the rubber on the track .. play with the cluch... if your in the 80's mph you are probly near 50-58 hp range one of my old bikes had different sprockets, stock pistons, pipes, jetted, milled head, timing kit, vforce 3's , kn pods....no porting we had 86-87 mph in 1/4 , if your going to be dragging it , make sure you have it on the rich side or it will burn up . just some info from the few times i went there with my old banshee 4 years ago ..... hope it helps

its not even the point of the money ,, they said i can have a cop from my state sign the ticket and mail it in with a 25 money order ,,,(proving that the problem was corrected) also i had a copy of my regestration and it was a little worn out from riding and he wrote me for no douments too... lol i told him to come to my camp and i will show u the orignal ... but he kept writing .. i called today and told them i have orignal and they said mail a copy of it in with $25 money order... they have some fucken nerve, if it wasnt for us they would out a job... plus they had less than half the people there this year.... they need to just enforce the laws, not break our balls ... travel 6000 miles for a ranger to tell me i need different mufflers ..... the best part is this asshole never put the tickets in yet , i have to keep calling back , like i got nothing better to do ever week for the next year !!!! and to answer your question wacko, yes it was me with the silver fullbore plastics banshee, you know the guy who spanked your boy marine (CAPSLOCKS) with the black fullbore plastics..... lolllll Our camp called him CAPSLOCKS all week ... i am sure everyone thats been to glamis has see what drives around there .... sand rails with small block chevy motors with turbos , and superchargers,(all sporting over 600 hp) all rockin open headers exhausts. then you have me, with my banshee with under 100 hp riding at 5 mph (speed limit area ) when i here police behind me. at this point i totaly amazed that i am being pulled over. (for guy who know i was riding back to the start of the turkey shoot, behind all the people parked.) the 2 cops get off there shitty four strokes and they look down at my pipes .... ?????? so i say what the matter??? the cop says "do you have spark aresters in these pipes?" i respond "are you kidding me ? where in the desert and every banshee out here has these pipes not to mention that sand rail that just went by with open headers and fire shooting from his pipes !!!!!!!" so he looking down my toomies t-5 with his cool little flash light .... long story short i get a ticket for no spark arestors !!!! total bullshit !! i didnt know the sand can catch fire !!!!
