  1. My friends banshee is way faster than my 300ex what do I need to do to make it faster?
  2. I have an 01 also, love the year and black/white combo. Looks like you got a good one and a great place to start.
  3. Does the tank have 2 holes on each side near the radiator? (Clarke tank) Or are the sides completely smooth (IMS)?
  4. Looks like a cool project to get into, I doubt the radiator is titanium though.
  5. Motul 800, has a cherry liquor scent to it 40:1.
  6. Panthera 550 is a drop in replacement for the trx450r engine if you have no budget. They'll also punch it out to a 700 if 100 horse isn't enough.
  7. The servals when they came out there were some issues but everything seems to be ironed out with them. There are a few guys on here with redline servals and are very happy with them.
  8. Love it, you probably have one of the handful in existence of RS250 engine swaps and it must be crazy. CPI is working on a new powervalved cheetah design with a 73mm bore. You could possibly end up with the engine that The Two-Stroke Shop could only dream of delivering and your new power delivery with a PV system. 521 Super Serval 535 Cheetah with PV's You might end up liking the Cheetah better on road because you'll have so much more up top. Only issue you might end up being a guinea pig until builders have the new engine worked out.
  9. I use dish soap to lube everything to slide on it also dries so once they are in place they are stuck. Get a real big flat blade screw driver put it between the slot of your clamp and turn so it opens the clamp which allows you to slide it over the rubber gasket. Without lube you won't be getting anywhere.
  10. Get a Clarke 5.6 gallon with 1-2 gal can extra on a prm 6-pack rack.
  11. CPI is working on new designs for powervalved based cheetah's.
  12. I've never heard a complaint about FAST or HJR. There are rumors of some legendary engine builder named Cain but I've never spoken to him.
  13. Blue - 10mm Super Serval: 39m PWK - BB Shearer - Pump gas I love the Aprilia RS-250's do you have any pic's of your's online?
  14. Vote 2 for DC-Pro LSR's very beefy tubing and made really well.
  15. Mounts right up to the stock stem, made for over-sized bars with a billet case for the vapor. Just to clarify I am not including the vapor computer this will be for the clamp and billet Vapor dash. I'll hit it some polish before I ship and will look basically brand new. $85 shipped, not sending out of United States.
  16. I have an old billet trail tech banshee clamp 1-1/8 bars that was made for the vapor. I'm about to get rid of it for a precision clamp on roll stem. It looks really trick and probably just what you're looking for.
  17. Like Claude said it depends on your budget and what you're willing to spend. Most bang for your buck is searching for a used set with compression/rebound adjustments and getting them rebuilt by a pro to your weight and riding abilities. I get mine serviced by Derisi suspension and it was about 200 dollars. As far as just plain best shock around you'll hear answers ranging from Custom Axis, Elka, Ohlins, Motowoz, Exit, Fox etc... Setup is probably going to be the most noticeable difference.
  18. Shocks, pipes and porting. If I had to do it all over that's the order I'd do. Pic's are kind of small but if those rears are bald you'll def need a new set. Mostly it depends where and how you ride, if you are drag racing people just throw it all at the motor and chassis setup.
  19. Ebc all day. Never ran the carbon X my only experience is in the woods, dry as bone to covered in mud they always lock the wheels with minimum effort.
  20. Just buy 3 sets of Roll a-arms and be done with it. What are the odds someone could go through all 3?

    A Arm help

Favorite mod by far was suspension, even lower end elka's and works are huge over the front stockers. The stock rear isn't that bad for it's size it's just short because of the frame geometry and suffers in ride quality because of it.

I got lonestar dc-pro and fox all around, spoiled me enough to never run stock again. I'd recommend the Dc-pro because welded on shock tabs are too old school. Not that roll isn't a great product their wins baja speak for themselves. I've heard Doug Roll has a redesign for the banshee swingers and a-arms in the to-do list but I wouldn't hold my breath for those.
  23. Looks like a really clean hybrid are you going to a custom airbox?
