  1. yea it runs good, idle is great...there is no bog of take off or any hestation throughout the throttle ranges the plugs are chocolate brown too...havnt done a chop yet but.. would it be safe to chuck in the reeds with current jetting and try and tune if from there?
  2. can anyone help ? cant seem to find jetting specs on here to do with reeds
  3. Yea 4th clip from the top Do i move it back to 3rd when installing reeds or does jetting stay the same?
  4. Guys added boyeson pro series dual stage reeds The booklet says it makes the pilot circut lean and main jet circut rich? What jetting changes do i have to do for these? My jetting still stands as it is in my signiture WITHOUT jetting for the reeds
  5. i switched my hose end for end and moved that metal spring near the pipes...this is for my T5s and it don't touch the pipe...

  7. i think the bike is running goood if i pull the choke out one notch...1/4 - 1/2 throttle gets really boggy but top end still goes good... putting the choke back in, it takes off idle fairly well and half throttle is good too... i dont know if its the pipes but pinning it when a high gear or cruising...it seems like its rich but it dont make that rich noise, basically sounds like the pipe is getting ready to pick up took the plugs out after about 1hr of riding and the base ring around electrode is dark brown...but don't go all the way around...would i be slightly lean? or does it take a while for the ring to fill up (new plugs)
  8. Still using the standard needle & the lids off the box... I stil got TORS on, buy sorting that out next week (eliminator kit)....going for a quick run today ill put a pic up of the plug chop and play around with the idle a bit... thanks!
  9. It don't exactly make that bogging rich noise...but seems like there is a bit of lack of power before powerband? if i pull the choke out one notch and ride it, it just gets worse...will do a plug chop tomorrow and post the pic up!
  10. ok guys installed and jetted pipes.. 300 main needle on 4th clip and airscrews 1.5 out bikes starts nicely and takes off really well off idle... but it seems to be a bit laggy/groggy untill it hits power band...is this my jetting or the t5s? once on powerband it pulls nice
  11. yea read up on the plug chop, will give it ago...ill be installing everything for my first time...dont really like giving money to people when a little bit of research is all you need lol will get jets 280-320 and prob start off with 300 and start plug chopping ps. mate has fatties on his bike...workshop threw in a 350 main with powerlid...bike don't feel fast AT all...guessing they do wana cover there asses
  12. Im in Australia so dont really ever exceed sea level, its winter here at the moment so temps are @ around 18 - 25 C i would off thought 280 main is a bit lean with the lid OFF?
  13. Yea will buy a few jets and do a couple plug chops, as for the pilot...should i start off with leaving the standard one?
  14. Hi guys Putting on some T5s soon but need an idea on jetting for them Done heaps of reading on the jetting section...kinda leaning towards a 300-320 main with NO lid and KnN filter and standard pilot or a 27.5 with needle still in center? Riding @ sea level with temperatures around 68 F - 88 F MAX Thanks.
