  1. Damn. You guys are crafty when it comes to removing this stuff. Haha! Honestly. You can remove powder coat with any kind of harsh chemical and lots of elbow grease. And by elbow grease. I mean it could take weeks. Ha! That....to me atleast is not a good way to strip powder coat. An oxyacetyline torch is probably the best way I do it. But after wards it goes right into the sand blaster. If you do use a torch. Just like over running the chemical strippers. You can kiss the rest of the powder good bye. Aircraft stripper DOES work. But there are different grades of aircraft stripper. The stuff in the can. Can't shake a stick at some of the stuff you have to have a business license to even get a hold of. My thoughts on this. Take it back to the guy that did the powder. Make a deal with him and make him redo it all for a reduced fee. Because chances are he wont strip it and re shoot it all for free. Sorry this happened to you man. What a waste.
  2. Messaged recieved. Thank you Burke for thinking of us! You're my boy Blue! Banshee HP nice set up man! Yes. Stellar Machine and Performance does make Banshee A-Arms for YFZ450 front shocks. The J-Arm and A-Arm Banshees both share the same lower arms. So doing the conversion on either is no problem. We do need to know at the time of ordering whether 450 shocks will be used or not. The lower shock tabs need to go in a different location in order to; A: Clear the YFZ shock (Ie. grinding down the tabs so the shock will fit) B: Keep proper ride height and arm travel due to the 1" longer shock. Our arms are designed around stock Banshee spindles and should be used to keep proper alignment and ball joint travel. You can call me at the shop (520-481-6946) or message me anytime. If I don't know. I can always find out!
  3. I apologize that I missed your question. All of these swingarms have been sold. Thank you.
  4. Thank you JD. That means a lot coming from you. I know you're a guy that knows beautiful work, sir.
  5. Stellar is putting up another beautiful swingarm for sale! This particular swingarm was made for a build that switched gears and is now available to you. This is a Banshee +10" straight ladder bar style no link drag light swingarm with satin black powder coat. If you called the shop to order this swingarm in the same color it would be $700 without shipping. Stellar is putting this swingarm up for sale at $500 shipped! And of course our swingarms come with pivot needle bearings and pinch bolts. You can call the shop Mon-Fri 8-5 mountain time at 520-481-6946, or you can message me on here and I will get back to you. Thanks!
  6. Yes sir! We do still have a couple left. One is a +6 recreational for a link with nothing on the carrier housing in gloss black. The other is a +4 recreational for a link with a tribal flame carrier housing in flat black.
  7. Water soluble grease won't hurt it. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  8. Best advice. Use a tiny dab of grease when putting the new boots in to hold them in place. Use grease on the piston so that it slides freely so as to not move the boot when you put it in place. And if you are going to powder coat it. Do not get sand anywhere in the inside of the cylinder or the reservoir. YOU WILL NEVER GET IT ALL BACK OUT OF THERE! Then it will score the piston and then you will rebuild because it leaks. And then you have to start the whole process back over.
  9. Back up top with these sexy things! We only have one of these left! Get yours before its too late!
  10. Pablo! Glad to see you are still around buddy! Here's my thoughts on it. You have been tuning in the same bike for the past 5 years. Whether it be engine or chassis, it does not matter. But you know best when it comes to trials and tribulations of what you have ran into and had the hardest time with. You are the one who knows your hill the best with the way you ride. You know how the hill launches. You know how your bike reacts. Your 4mil cub has been breaking hearts for years now. I know you know how to tune. So pick an engine that will stay together long enough for you to dial it in. And let Tim decide on a chassis size for you based on engine size. Maybe some Ti parts here and there will get you up to 90 on the hill.
  11. Stellar Machine and Performance can hook you up buddy! Give us a call at 520-481-6946.
  12. Awesome! Thanks for your order. We will have it completed as soon as we can!
