  1. ive never ran dg pipes but i would guess your way lean to begin with. 200-220 is stock. as for one being darker could be a couple things, bad sync, float height/seat, possibly burning tranny oil. the first thing id do is throw some 260 mains in it sync the carbs and see if it gets better.
  2. my buddy has 300 main 27.5 pilot middle clip, almost same set up,he has pc pipes and,he doesn't have a box and its 1or 2 main sizes big, same altitude and temp. you might want to try 280-290 with pods
  3. ok so im running a flotek dune ported 350 on gas with a stock head, t5's, +4,stock carb, toomey 1-2 filter, at 600 asl, 70ish weather. when i got the cylinders i started at 360 main, 30 pilot, stock needle middle clip it was way rich(20* weather). now im at 320 main(wot chop shows perfect reading now) leanest clip on the needle and 27.5 pilot. my throttle response is as follows 1/8 pulls good, 1/8-1/4 pulls good but feels and sounds lean, 1/4-1/2 puls good maybe a lil lean, 1/2-just under 3/4 to rich, hesitates, loads up if i stay there to long, full is nice and smoth through all rpm. so my next guess is a different needle but what one do i get to achieve my needs? thanks

  6. well i did it 3 times, i get that little pinch at the end in both cylinders. im pritty sure im doing it right ive done it before. my problem is how do i make it tighter without raising compression? should i just get a cool head and go from there? trying not to waste money. why would the squish be so loose in the first place? i need someone to point me in the right direction of how to fix it. thanks
  7. so i did the test and it looks like my bore is to big for a stock head at 65.5, also i got a reading of .078 but at the tip its at around .039. my question is what should i do? theres no builders around here or anyone who i would trust to cut my stock head. i know if i get a cool head it will fix my dome area issue, but what about the squish? i used .020 base gaskets, so do i need to get custom domes made? im running a 350 dune port on pump with 145 comp and +4 at 600 asl

  9. did you unplug the little black box behind the rad next the the coil on the left side?
  10. it only fits one way so, the pressure plate off and keep rotating it one bolt hole till it goes in all the way

  12. mine always spits about a water bottle full out if i fill to the top, same with my buddies. if there was a problem with the seal on your head i wouldnt think it would stop coming out and it would eventually overheat. also could be a broken water pump or cracked cylinder too i guess. im no expert by any means im sure someone else will have better input but i would giver and just keep an eye on it. if your worried do a comp and leak down test and check the impeller
  13. well if you dont have a coolant overflow bottle then you will spit some out ass the bike heats up do to expansion. once it stops and if it doesnt overheat then that is the proper level it needs, i wouldnt worry about it
