JMHO, I know K&T does a lot of good work and has some very fast motors. I grew up where everyone had a K&T bike and always wanted one. However, I felt like in the last few years you have to be the right guy that's dropping some serious $$$$$ if you want them to put the work in your cylinders. I've never seen a K&T duner without 35's on it. With that said I've raced a lot of K&T "duners" on my stock carb bike and run right with if not just ahead and I have a lot more usable power for duning. Bottom line, their motors I feel are hit and miss sometimes, assuming the motors are tuned and set up right.
