  1. I did'nt have any problems yet. If I do I'll upgrade to a Autometer.
  2. Just got it back together. Works great, big improvment. +4 swingarm http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m...os/100_0564.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m...os/100_0566.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m...os/100_0567.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m...os/100_0568.jpg rear Works shock is amazing compared to the stock Yamaha unit.
  3. A simple 3/4 T fitting and a $17 gauge is all that is needed. Been on my bike since March. Works great. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m.../100_0550-1.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m.../100_0556-1.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc173/m.../100_0549-1.jpg hope this helps someone out.
  4. I got a RM stator last month. So far so good.
  5. Here's an idea. Burn the front fenders, like others have suggested. Keep the rears on the bike and get some race cut fronts. That will look good. Just an idea.
  6. I'll through in some reed spacers. They ad at least 35 horse power
  7. I dont think the stroke has much to do with it. But yes, I does vibrate more then a stock motor. But when you more then double the horse power, you gotta expect that.
  8. I'm with you. Its a fair price. 5 hrs on them, they should be like new.
  9. I have a Torch Works radiator. I run pump gas ( 158 psi. 27 cc domes ) As much as I ride I need to run pump gas. Sunoco 93.
  10. I got a 492 pv. basicly same as the 485. Very reliable, Runs a little hot. Sick amount of power. You wont have trouble passing any of your friends. Get a long swingarm. you'll need it.
  11. What are you talking about? New pistons and a cub cylinder for 600 dosent seem that bad. Basicly your getting the cylinder for $400 and pistons for $200. I dont see the problem.
  12. Thanks for the front master cylinder PJ. Good luck with rest of the sales.
  13. He buying the plastic, wiring and coil. And maybe some more stuff.
  14. Ya got me on the plate. But I still use the tires. If I were to race someone I wounld use my paddles.
  15. You got all the sound system you need under the hood. Open headers. Just listen to it sing.
  16. I would go with 19cc domes. I got away with it for years on 93.
  17. I believe its below the stator cover. ( left side of motor )
  18. If I was still running a stock motor I would have left well enough alone. Plate is cheap insurance.I have to admit. If it were'nt for this topic I would still have a offset keyway. I saw the light! I guess?
  19. All is well in Banshee land. My spelling is awful. Not sure if I spelled AGREE right or not??
  20. I still use the vampire tires. But when I get serious I use the paddles. If I could find out were to get GBC paddle masters. I would use nothing else. As for the keyway. I agree the plate is better. Who dont? I still never saw one break. Im leaving the one in my KFX 700.
  21. $112 shipped. I wanted a spare anyway. I'm sure the key will move on to Stumpys bike.
  22. The bottom line is. I have upwards of $9g's in this bike. If it were to break. I would be pissed. Anyway, it's fun to dissagree. Would you agree?
  23. Mine never broke. But for piece of mind. I got a plate.
