  1. This ones mine. Bought it when i was 19. Paid $5200 cash. Preety much the way it looks now. I replaced the whole drive train over the years but over all a solid car. sorry for the crappy photo. only one I have in photo bucket.
  2. I'd love to buy one but i'm sure they will be starting at $35000-$40000. I'll have to keep driving my old faithful. 71 Z.
  3. Thanks for the advice guys. I was just being lazy and did'nt want to split the cases. Anyway I decided to do both. I have to much invested to be lazy. A friend of mine has a 400 cheetah a blew 2 right side crank bearings in 2 years. So that got me a little worried. I'll just do it right before somthing blows.
  4. Motors coming apart so I was wondering what is the better upgrade. TZ bearing or the straight gears. I've been told the gears take alot of pressure of the crank bearing. Let me know what you think.
  5. Looking for a set of straight cut gears. Stock ratio. Were's the cheapest place to buy them?
  6. I rode one a few times. As far as 4 strokes go its top dog (525). Excellient brakes. But I'd rather ride my Banshee any day.
  7. I believe 26/28mm filters fit the 30mm's. at least they did for us.
  8. Ahhh. Someone took the buy it now. I thought it was a good deal for $400.
  9. No. Mine was nice and smooth.
  10. I dont have the measurements, but I know they do not fit. My buddie has a set of OKO's and there smaller.
  11. Yep. The one I got is power coated or painted, It has a metallic finish. I actually had to remove some of the paint to get it to move in the engine case.
  12. has to be better then stock shit. Right.
  13. Not for me. I think i would be going backward with that. I building a motor for a friend who is a cheap fuck. Trying to get the most bang for the buck.
  14. Found this auction on ebay. Wondering if these cylinders are any good. I never herd any thing on them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/banshee-dra...sQ5fAccessories
  15. I got one of there stators, adjustible plate, and a coil. All have been on my bike since the summer with no problems. I know thats not a long time but, so far so good.

  17. On any High rmp motor you do not want cast pistons. The only piston you should put in a banshee is a wiseco. I learned this the hard way. Cast pistons blow up. Only lasted me 7 months. Cast suck I had a motor in my shop last week, Cast pistons. They crumbled upart. Jammed up the crank. Had to split the cases. Cylinders were only 64.5mm had to take them up to 66mm.
  18. Are you bringing that bike up? Or are you going to try jetting it your self?
  19. I know of a fruity gangster that would look good on that. Pinks his color. I'm not gunna name names. HaHa. You'll have to use your imagination.
  20. I put up some old videos from the summer. Good luck with the site Rob.
  21. Just look on the first page of this topic. I have pics posted.
  22. I shut mine down around 220F. But I can start to feel a power loss at 200F. Heres the pics you requested.
  23. Just got the new Rockey Mountian FALL/WINTER catalog. Major price increases. I was shocked at the price of oils. Klotz went up $10 per gallon. Red Line 2-cycle went up $20 per gal. Maxima trans oil went up $2.50 a quart. This sucks. I can now buy oil at the local bike shop cheaper. From what I've scene, everything in the book went up.
  24. I'm not sticking up for him. But I know he had alot of issues. His girlfriend cut his finger of and so on. I think he parted his banshee to pay medical bills. He seemed like a good guy the couple of times I met him. I hope he makes good on the money he owes. If I see him I'll be sure to say somthing.
