    I wanted to make sure I installed my tz correct. The shoulder of the race goes toward the crank?

    I took the gears off the shaft and checked everything. The dogs look like new, and the gears slide easy on the shaft. So im guessing it was the broke coil on the spring. So I replaced the spring, and hoping for the best.

    How critical is the tension on the springs? Who cuts Jeffs trannys?

    Im not sure theres a problem with the gear. But I did find a single broken coil on one of the small springs. Im wondering if that could cause it to wear the fork out.

    Ok, I have a 1-4, clutch 5-6 duneable overide. I've had it for years with no problems untill now. It keeps chewing up the #2 shift fork. The side facing the drive sprocket. ( the fork closest to the drive sprocket ) It still shifts fine. Im not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas or info would help. Thank Matt

    I never herd of such a thing. Also, make sure your thumb throttle is not adjusted out to far. This would also cause high idle. People bring banshees to me all the time for idle/carb problems. Its usually a bad adjustment.

    Are you sure the cable adjuster on top of carbs are adjusted correctly?

    You must have a carb problem. I can ride for hrs on a tank of gas. I have a pair of 38mm carbs, and a bigger motor.

    I dont know what the big deal is either. I have a mixmatched set on my cheetah. No problems thus far.

    Thats a 465 Jack. Go with the 10 mill. Everyone has a 421.

    I wonder what there quality is. I know Hotrods and Vito's are made in China or Taiwan...and they hold up good.
