  1. What he said!!! Those guys do some sick paint work, and thier prices are awesome. I know this seems to kinda contradict the fact that I gave you the address for verde, lol. I'll deffinately have to agree with Kaos here though, check out some of theshee's work.
  2. It could be a problem with the float height, the float being bad or the float needle not sealing. Do yourself a favor and get a clymers manual. I'm not able to post pics and not sure how to describe adjusting the floats, but I'll try. When the float bracket is level with the gasket gasket surface on the carb body the little tab should barely begin depressing the spring loaded pin in the center of the float needle. Hope this helps. Don't have the measurements off the top of my head.
  3. He doesn't list any porting in his mods, and said it had 160 last time it was tested. Seemed a little low to me (sea level-19cc domes), but that could be a variation in guages. He wasn't holding the throttle wide open during the test, so it read low.
  4. Try your comp test again, this time holding the throttle wide open and kick it over at least 10 times(until needle stops moving) you should see a significant difference. As for the cutting out, your jetting needs to be richer in the cold weather.
  5. I cant see your plugs well enough to say, but your probably on the lean side if it's cold out. Did you hold the throttle wide open as you did your comp test??
  6. Check out verdepowersports.com they have some pretty sick lookin graphics for black shees.
  7. Thanks, I'll have to check with him. Might build some a-arms too. That sucks about your swinger.
  8. I would have to say shooting. I like my Kimber 1911 and my bushmaster XM-15 the most for plinkin.
  9. Was on PS the other day and saw that there is a 300ft sand strip being built in Delta, UT. It looks like a real nice track, can't wait to try it out. Anyone else on here seen it and planning on going out there?
  10. I'm fabbing a new roundhouse swinger for my shee, was wondering who you guys recommend to plate it, quality vs price?
  11. Those looke nice, I think I'll have to get a set when I get my new CPI's. I've got the stockers with two SS bolts in them for now and have had no problems with breakage, but I kinda like the bling of billet
  12. Lynn at LC Performance recommends the TDR's or Stock reeds in ported stock cages over the VF's, Snop has dyno information in the General discussion disproving the claim that VF's make more power. He even found that they make less, and that was running the stuffers. I port all of my own reed cages, it's not difficult. I wish I was able to post pics for you guys. I just knife edge the bridges and clean up the outer edges of the windows so they are smooth. Then I make them have a smooth/roundish contour from the screws to the pedal opening. Hope this helps.
  13. Threebond 1211, that is some good info to have. Putting my cases together next weekend. Thanks Jeff!
  14. The 1104 has been discontinued??? and 1194 is the replacement??? 1104 is what we used on all our cases back when I worked in the bike shop.
  15. Underneath the left front side of your tank is a small electrical box, that is the TORS controller.
  16. Sounds like you didn't sync your carbs when you put it all back together.
  17. I saw an article where a guy added a voltage regulator/rectifier to his lighting circuit and installed a battery so he was able to run DC Headlights (much brighter and less affected by rpm changes)
  18. Post some pics of how you had it mounted, maybe someone will have a better idea. Is your bar wider than the distance between your wheels??
  19. I thought they had a wider spread through all of the gears, but I could be wrong. Someone whos delt with these put up some posts.
