  1. I just use 2-stroke oil, but if you insist on grease...I'd say lubriplate or any other quality engine assembly lube.
  2. No problem! I also use a razor blade to remove the gasket material, but have to be extra careful not to damage the sealing surface. Green or red scotch brite pads also work quite well, just be careful not to remove any metal (light pressure, let the pad do the work).
  3. Beat me to it  , but you'll likely be $$ ahead to just buy new after you figure parts labor and shipping.
  4. Do a search on how to sync your carbs
  5. You lookin for one to run with no bar? I would say probably a +12, I'll have to check pricing on one that long.
  6. What length are you looking for? I can get you a ladder style chromoly in chrome for @ $500
  7. Well, I just happen to know where you can offload a 10mil twister if you want a stock stroke....mods r in my sig
  8. Hope the weather holds, I'll try to get out there a day.
  9. Pilots and airscrews affect bottom. Needles affect mid. But, it sounds to me as though you need to check your carb sync and double check your pickup coil gap (.020"), since adjusting the airscrews had no effect.
  10. Wish I had the leave! Originally planned on takin my bike down, but can't afford to now. Thanks for the invite!! Good luck  BUMP!
  11. What length is that arm? stock stroke needs +6 at most, usually only +4. As snop said, 9-10 haulers depending on how heavy the sand is.
  12. Done business with Mike a couple of times, he's a great guy to deal with.
  13. sold him a set of carbs, went great!
  14. weakest link always goes first. you were way too lean.
  15. I've got a carrier off an 06' with only @10 hrs. on it (silver) $45 shipped. I recommend searching for an other set of jugs.
  16. Thanks for the feedback guys, it means a lot for me to know that you are happy with the work I have done. -Brandon
  17. You would have to have a big bore cylinder to run those. Stock banshee cylinders can usually only go .080" (66mm) safely, sometimes .1" 66.5mm
  18. Well, like I said...It also depends on application. For example, I like to set trail or Mx motors at 180 if the customers budget allows race fuel. Those engines will benefit more from the added compression=more low end grunt. But I like to set my duners and drag motors up with less compression so they will rev out easier. I would go 145-150 for pump gas. I like to set up engines for about 165 to run alcohol. A nice compromise seems to be about 160-165 on 100 octane.
  19. That is if it doesn't need an overbore.
