Mikuni 38 MM Gas Carbs CLEAN complete SOLD
Wildcardracing replied to Josh Z's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
LMAO!! Free bump! -
At that elevation, as long as the cylinder hasn't been chopped up so far to loose intake velocity you should be able to jet it with the Q2's. If you have any questions feel free to call. -Brandon (435)623-0148

Have you tried the bike yet? You will most likely want the Q0 tubes, but depending on your elevation and the cylinder you may get it right with the Q2's. If it has the original 5FP17 needles that is. Other needles will affect the midrange delivery. If you have the 5FP17's in there run them on the second leanest clip position with the Q-2's to start with. You may end up dropping the needle all of the way. PM me or give me a call if you need any advice. -Brandon

Queston about bore size and Wiseco pistons..
Wildcardracing replied to Zillaguy's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I charge $110 per pair for bore/hone and portwork will run $340-$385 depending on what route we go. Portwork is customized to your riding style, current mods, elevation, fuel and weight. PM me or call (435)623-0148 if you'd like to discuss in more detail. Thanks, Brandon -
Queston about bore size and Wiseco pistons..
Wildcardracing replied to Zillaguy's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
the piston is widest and should be measured front to back approximately 1/2 way down the skirt. Calipers are only accurate within a few thousandths of an inch. As for the bore measurement, I believe you're referring to a snap gauge. 513P2 is an old Wiseco number and has been replaced by 513M06450. They are a 64.5mm piston. -
they aid in crankcase filling, crown cooling and wristpin lubrication.

Rod clearance should be around .020

Best place to get raw inframe SB Shearers?
Wildcardracing replied to JasonsBanshee's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
That's a pretty broad statement. Jason, Shearer has been busy this spring and a little further than normal on his turnaround time. -

I would recommend doing a cooling system pressure test. Is the bike using coolant? Is it preasurizing the cooling system? White milky spray isn't normal, and would be a sign of a coolant leak.

2013 Banshee HQ Ride Sand Mountain UT
Wildcardracing replied to Wildcardracing's topic in Riding and Events Forum
Shay and I had a great time! It was an awesome weekend with the turnout and weather. Great meeting Cam, Larry, Tony, Matt and Mike. Maybe next year we can get a few more out of state people here. The Redline, K&T and Vincent 350's all ran very well! In the end Cam was a lil ahead. Maybe next year I'll have one together for some fun. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this ride fun. It was great to have a no drama friendly day of racing, riding and b-sing. -Brandon -
2013 Banshee HQ Ride Sand Mountain UT
Wildcardracing replied to Wildcardracing's topic in Riding and Events Forum
As you approach Sand MTN we will be camped at the last loop on the left. We will be in a blue Dodge pulling doubles. You should be able to see the white 20' Haulmark with our logo on the side. -
Wow! 17cc domes on a 10 cub at 1k elevation. That will put you around 18.6:1 UCCR. I set mine up with 20's at 4500' assuming a cub with std deck heights. You've got way too much compression IMO. You'd be much better off to go to a larger dome and less compression. High compression motors can and will fight themselves in the higher RPM's. As you approach the peak efficiency of your pipe/porting the dynamic compression will dramatically increase well above cranking pressures. To much static compression will kill the motors ability to over-rev and can slow the motors acceleration.

Thanks for posting that up Mike. Todd, wish you could make it out too! Should be a great time! -
I think you're talking about the wristpin bearing size? If so, it will depend on what piston you're going to be running. Give me a little input on what motor this crank is for and I can make some recommendations. Thanks, Brandon

Utah recognizes other state registrations. When did this happen to you? Used to be required to get a non resident tag, but that changed a few years ago. I'll see if I can dig up the info \ -

Full crank rebuild is $400, slightly cheaper than a new crank. But, it will be a better crank than any aftermarket stock stroke.
