22cc domes in Alky cub motor
Wildcardracing replied to justin_smallwood's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Alky has an extremely slow burn rate, 7-10 degrees is very common. -

Lol BTW, your domes, port and pipes aren't working well together if the engine wants 10* advance on gas, in my opinion. -
RZ350 Land Speed Build
Wildcardracing replied to Wildcardracing's topic in General Banshee Discussion
No, with the rise ratio regulator it gets 21psi fuel pressure at 15 psi boost. I am quite positive the velocity increase through the carb at 10k and 15psi is outrunning the volume capacity of the needle/seat -

As you stated in your original post, it won't perform as well as it will once you get some alky domes. -

Running 32mm TM Mikuni setup for blow through. Good 1.25 miles lol -
RZ350 Land Speed Build

Well, this one seems to work incredibly well as long as the bowls have fuel. Not a pump around. Using an efi pump with 1:1 rise regulator and return to tank. Going to do some magic to add fuel under boost. And you talk like I dont know you've had a good running turbo bike lol. -

No records this year, but was a fun and learning experience. Smoked the left piston 1.25 miles in when it sucked the left bowl dry. Going to make some one off custom upgrades to the fuel system to keep this thing fueled. Guess I will update in a couple of years when we can get back on the salt. -

Lol Green! This would make a really fun dune engine! When it hits at 8200 rpm and jumps from about 5psi to 15psi you better hang on! Would love to try this bike out with some more reasonable gearing. 2.68 primaries and 19/32 sprockets makes for a sluggish 65mph first gear lol. -

It's been a fun and challenging build. 350cc serval on methanol at 15psi boost. Biggest challenges were building a return type fuel system for the blow through carbs and designing an oiling system for the turbo. -
Built this in 2013. Set a daily record, headed back to Bonneville to claim it back. Thought you'd enjoy some pics. Brandon

What to do as my cylinders age
Wildcardracing replied to Jgspahn's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
If you feel they're worth it they can be plated. Millenium has done sleeved cylinders for me a couple of times -
At 5k' you can go with 19cc domes on pump with a conservative chamber design
-
If you're going to run a staggered transfer arrangement you'll have much better luck opening the primaries first then secondaries and boost last. Make sure you're exhaust crown is not too flat and the ports are perfectly symmetrical. -B

ask your builder!! I never cared for resleeved bb stock cylinders, not enough transfer area

Jeremy, Sorry about the difficulty getting ahold of us. Unfortunately I'm unable to take on much at this time. -Brandon

New Driveline Performance 68mm piston
Wildcardracing replied to Driveline Performance's topic in Sponsor Spotlight
I had at one time talked to wiseco about doing a similar project. I had planned to do mine as a flat top, any possibility of this being a future offering?- 65 replies

Had a very good transaction on some cases bought from DuneCat. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with her again in the future. Thanks! Brandon

parting out stock stroke banshee
Wildcardracing replied to duramaxsmoke's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Interested in cases Anthony! Hit me up -
Still tinkering a bit but have had no choice but to shift my efforts elsewhere for the time being. I still enjoy building and riding, Lynn didn't anymore. He got to where he hated it

Retired for good. He told me he was done and hasn't looked back.

I can't believe nobody has attempted to answe this in a months time! If you're still interested In advice?? Is the clutch installed and bearing stiff? How much free play is in the lever and where is the arrow pointing on the clutch arm? There is an alignment arrow on the cases that should line up with the clutch arm when contact with the rod is made. Adjust the pancake bearing until the two points line up (assuming you're running a stock style 7 plate clutch). After that adjust the clutch cable until you have at least 1/4" free play in the clutch lever. If the bearing is stiff to turn after these adjustments then something is damaged or installed incorrectly. -Brandon

Wow! A lot has happened in 7 years. At this point in the game I would share just about anything of my cylinder and dome work. It has gone a long ways since some of those first stock cylinder 350s. Back then I was a tinkerer on my own motors and those who nearly begged me to duplicate the work on their bikes. I did my first set of Banshee cylinders in 06, that set went through four transformations before being taken too far. I have become to busy with my fathers business the past year and have for the most part put down the porting tools. It is unfortunate, I miss it and felt that I offered a very competitive product. Thanks to all of those who helped me along the way and made Wildcard Racing a possibility! -Brandon
