I would mod the shifter and star. If your not happy with that I would spend the extra money on a duneable over ride. I dont know anyone who uses that shift drum.

Like everyone else said do the +4 and you should be on target. If you do not know how to install it look for a video on here by "Nitronate" he did a good job. It will teach you how to do almost everything on your bike.

I run a Direct Drive lockout, on an extreme dune ported stock crank. I love mine. Do not run any HD springs, you dont need them. When the engine in at the higher rpm it pulls the clutch plates in tighter. If you can afford it do it. Saves clutch fibers IMO.

LOL.......you funny boy! Next year you will need to run on both cylinders. I am going to start buying parts now a little at a time so my wallet does not shrink so fast. Come winter time I will start the 4mil rebuild. Matt we are going up in June if you want to jump in. We even have a BHQ banner so everyone will know were to roll into. No problem. I like them but they get in the way for me on the sand. If I did more trail riding I would keep them.

You SMOKED the clutch. I had the same thing happen to me when I was ripping across the dunes. When you take it down check your basket for grooves and if you dont have a pancake bearing in there spend the $50 for the insurance.

This is a nice set of AC ProNerf bars w/heel guard for $150.00. The nets are in good shape. With a little bit of Mothers these shine like a new penny. Low end torque ProCircuts, high end T5's. For trails I would go with the PC's.

I get off at 0600 on Thursday. Go home get a fews of sleep and then come up. You can carry your own damn cooler. You need to be a little closer

I talked to my builder this morning. I put a coolhead on my yellow shee and got 165 psi on compression. He told me to bump my timing up to +7 and start running 100 octane and it would be peaked out!! Now I will be ready for the 4mil's. Ordered some pods, new clutch basket and the parts that were missing on the carbs that I picked up. I will be ready in June. The buddy shee will be up for sale. My buddies will get a special price if you know someone who wants it.

Are ya'll going to make it the weekend of June 10-14th? There are going to be a few of us meeting up there. I will come up on the 11th.

If you use a penny you can get by with not using an impact. Or you can spend a few $$$ and buy a strap wrench and you can hold either side.
