I got my PIPES!!! Got them on Tues and was on the dunes by Thurs. They looked almost brand new and performed great. I pissed off a few guys at the dunes after they saw them and I told them how much I paid for them. Thanks for the good deal and the fast shipping. I will be selling a set of T5's after I get them polished up.

Both places have its pros and cons. I have not been to kermit in about 3 years. The last day i was there was when the county came out and tore down the pavillions. I have not been to the campground the new owners built. The sand at Kermit is finer than LS. The dunes are larger at LS. The bowels are larger at Kermit. You can go to the back section and ride all day without seeing anyone else. If you do go take a compass, I think the place is 25sq miles + and if you dont know the land marks you will get lost. I hope this answers a few of your questions. Both places are great to ride, but they are both 5 1/2 hours from me. If you break down at Kermit and dont have extra parts you will be coming home sooner than you think.

Have you been to the Kermit Sandhills website? There is camping there, or 2 hotels, I suggest the Kermit Inn if you are going to hotel it. Or you can just go with us to LS next week. The only bad thing about kermit is if you break a part and dont have any spares you are screwed!!!

I should be there around 2 or 3 on Thursday. Will be camp in the north campground, trying to get into the middle section before the State Park exit.

Looking to see who all will be at LS the weekend of June 11th-14th. I am looking at myself and maybe one more on a YFZ540.

I take one plug out, screw in compression tester. Kick until compression needle stops moving. I do not hold throttle open. If you buy a compression tester look for the adapter that has about the same length on the threads as the spark plug you are using.

Check out Carb warehouse. They have a set of OKO's for a decent price and work just like PWK's.

Sounds like its time to take off the clutch cover and and adjust your clutch. While your in there spend the $50 and get a pancake bearing and check the thickness of your clutch fibers.

You have a good little set up already. For bolt on mods I would go with an ajustable timing plate set at +4. Get a pair of 28-30mm Keihin or OKO carbs. Both of those mods will increase your power. You did not say what cc domes were on your head. As far as the pegs go. I just sold a set of AC Pronerfs. I bought two more sets of pegs and bolted them onto the stationary set. Looks good and wont hang up on anything.
