Getting a head count and looking for some guys bringing their wifes of girlfriends. I should be there around noon on Friday. We will be staying at the Waynoka Inn this time. I am bringing the wife and she will not camp. I know of several guys on here that are coming. I will also have a camp site set up there. Just bought the wife a Joyner Sand Spider to try out it has an extra seat so the wife can take a friend and beer!

Damn sounds like I should have been there to keeps Shannon's ass out of JAIL! I cant wait until Oct for my ride and for my wife to meet everyone. I am going to get my sand fix today. They have dune buggies here to rent. I will let ya'll know how they are.

First how long has the clutch been on there? How often are you riding? When was the last time you adjusted the clutch? I have burnt a clutch on one dune ride. I would suggest taking the clutch cover off and checking it out. Since your in there spend the $50 and put a pancake bearing in there. It will save you major headaches in the future. Buy a good clutch when you replace it. Check both your inner and outer basket and make sure its not groved. When you pull in the clutch the fiber plate fingers will catch on the grooves and not allow your clutch to disengage.

I have a set of extreme haulers also, same as above. I have used Sand Stars and still have a set, they are a great all round tire. You can always rent a set up there I think for $50. They are not grat of a tire but they work in a pinch. I know a couple of guys who have bought really good tires and rims on Craigslist. If you are going to keep them awhile buy new Haulers. The price at the shop there are not that bad.

Looks like you need to go both weekends! The only thing about planning to far in advance is you never know about the weather.

I know you checked the ohms on the stator but did you check to make sure the stator was tight and in the right position? Also check your pickup coil to make sure it did not get loose. You do have an electrical problem from what I am reading. Problem is finding it.

I run the same thing. I would not change to anything larger than an 8 inch. Less weight also, really makes a difference.

Prego "its in there!"....LMAO I don'd know about Holloween but I will try to make that weekend also. Since my wife will not take a shower at the dunes she might take one in the trailer if they bring it. She will do some camping then. I am not real big on staying in a motel but if it is the only way I can get her to the dunes I will make the sacrifice. Half the fun o duning is hanging out by the fire with good friends. I am hoping after she sees how much fun it is she will do the tent.

Its about time they get married!!!!......tell them hi, I will be missing Trent. Tell them they need to come to the dunes in Oct when Spurdy and my crew come up. I talked to them this past week and there will be 8 of us coming up maybe more. It will be me my wife Amy, Chris and Jami, Gary and Lexi and another guy named Scottie you have not met yet and his wife. Should be a good crew coming up.
