  3. mine has had the same noise since i bought the machine heard it could have been the crank but put a hot rod crank in it it still sounds like that but she still runs strong

  8. to the first 2 reposts i do have a clymers and i had between 30 -40 hrs myself into correcting the problem and got nowhere but into the hole for parts i didnt need but all in all it was a good learning experience remember tis is my first bike i ever owned i dont know if u have read the previous posts ive had up ut again thanks for the input
  9. so i finally sucked up up and took defeat and dropped the shee off at a shop. dropped it off yesterday and 2.5 hrs of labor and shee is running. get this when we put the new stator in the wires were touching behind it , one connector was dirty on the on/off switch and a coil cap was bad. thank goodness for the shop cant wait 2 ride sunday :thumbsup:
  10. if u mean the on/off switch opened it up but it doesnt matter now dropped it off at a shop couldnt take it anymore
  11. imma double check the key bypass and if nothin droppin it at a shop thank god for xmas $$$$$$$
  12. someone told me today that the no spark issue could have something to do w/the clutch :shrug: ????is that possible or am i missing something :shrug:
  13. i didnt get a chance to get to the garage yet to try it but as soon as i do i will let u know. a buddy who is a lil better at this kinda thing is gonna help but he had 2 work this past weekend
  14. i only did the rear didnt even try the front but like u said i think the stems would hit
  15. yea thats how mine r i like it looks a lil diff. than everybody else but beware when gon thru tight spaces i got stuck doin that not fun :biggrin:
  16. no sand around here and we did try the fly wheel swap both ways his kicked over mine nadda trust me we did all of it but nothin its sad to say but im gonna end up taken it to a shop for them to charge the fuck out of me but im at that point missed the snow storms the last 2 weeks...oh ya and im in Scranton PA just a couple min ride from MI :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:
  17. i put all my parts on another shee and shee kicked right over i just dont get it sanded all the ground points im bout to burn it or trade it
  18. but if the pick up was set wrong it wouldnt give any spark correct??? i ghad spark then it was suddenly gone then back then gone for good???
  19. ok so now i have changed the stator, coil, cdi, on/off switch, bypassed the ignition, and changed the wire harness., sanded all ground points! :mad: and at first i got spark but it was on and off then it just went to no spark again :mad: WTF :mad: WTF :mad: WTF :mad: WTF :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: im ready to smash the shee! any other suggestions other than to take it to a shop and get charged out the wazoo for it?? :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
  20. simple as it was stated i dont have the proper toll for that yet is there something i can use to space it for the time being
  21. IF I SHAKE THE TANK I CAN LEAVE IT IN THERE AND USE IT OR NO???????and what if i use a space heater next to it for like an hr or 2 would it mix again?????
