  1. Not trying to steal the thread, but....My bike has some mad vibrations on the low end of the rev range. Is that normal for a shee or do you think that something is wrong? Up high feels alright. It seems like it's mid range to low that it does it.
  2. It shouldn't make enough difference to notice. It might however give you more low end. Usually, the longer the intake tubes on something, the more torque you get to an extent.
  3. That sucks. Hope it all goes well for you on the rebuild.
  4. I agree with parking brake too. Some way some how it's making it do that.
  5. Not to steal the thread, but, how much power would a cool head with smaller domes give. I'm all stock motor as far as internals goes. Nothing too high compression but something a step or two above stock?
  6. You wouldn't have to do the conversion to run regular style or halogens, like stated above, buuuuut.....If you try to run too much off of your stock stator it could wind costing you.
  7. Or if you think about it quick enough, you could also put it in gear and hold the rear brake and let your clutch out. I don't know if I could think that fast in this situation either though.
  8. I think that stock shocks are the same as on a warrior or 350 raptor.
  9. Probably ran the wrong premix ratio like stated above and didn't rejet it after mods or something like that. Could've gotten an air leak and didn't get fixed. I'd jump on it for $400. Absolutely cannot go wrong on that one.
  10. It shouldn't. I pretty sure that heet is just ethanol and just mixes with water in your gas and allows it to burn. Maybe it's methanol. Not sure but I know it shouldn't effect your bike.
  11. Make sure that when you're kicking the crap out of it, that you are holding the throttle wide open too.
  12. Can you say," the whole bottom of the spark plug is smashed or melted?" Yeah, I agree with the others. You need some higher octane fuel or back off the timing a little and bigger jets. Fix it before it blows and it will be funner for you and a little bit cheaper.
  13. To run 100%, your bike probably needs rejetted if it warms from 70 to 100*. You would need a touch leaner jet for hotter and a touch richer for colder. As for your tors question, yes, you can just unplug the black box and it will be disabled.
  14. I can tonight. Sorry. I haven't been on here in a day or two.
  15. I haven't seen any mods that just involved the heel guard. Sorry. I am running, on my bike, AC propeg nerfs and I love them. The only drawback is that you can't roll yourself backwards on flat ground by rolling the front tires with your feet anymore. They will probably lighten your bike up just a little bit too.
  16. Better go with lifestyle. It may be cheaper.
  17. It's the best. It works hard so you don't have to.
  18. My buddy wrecked his polaris predator at the dunes and broke a front fender. There wasn't any other choice but to do some cutting if we wanted to keep riding. We masking taped the cut line and went to town on them with a fine tooth keyhole saw. It worked great. We then polluted the atmosphere by throwing the fenders on the campfire. It woke the neighbors up. It was really bright and hot.
  19. That you have an air leak somewhere on the lighter side, a head gasket leak on the lighter side, or that your plug or boot or something else isn't making a spark on the darker side. Just some things that could be wrong.
  20. I was helping a buddy work on his uncle's yamaha wave runner. I think it was a 3 cylinder though. I was just wondering.....That would look kick ass on the shee. I hear you on that one. I dream about an rz500 motor on a drag shee in my garage.
  21. This worked for me. My pods were hitting my airbox mounts and rubbed holes in my outerwears. I fixed that with some permatex automotive silicone. That fix was for future reference.
  22. I was thinking about doing the exact same thing. Thanks for the good pics. Now I know where to cut it at. I hadn't looked at it close enough to figure that out yet. Looks really good man. Awesome mod. Thanks ban99 for the input too. Crossbracing is always a good idea.
