  1. That's what mine was doing after my mods. I was just messing around and knew it needed to be rejetted. Sounds like you need bigger main jets to me.
  2. Off subject but madjimmax, is that an american bulldog. He looks good. I have an english bulldog. Sorry, just being over observant.
  3. Prolly just carbon or something. Soak em in diesel or kerosene for a day or two then wire brush out your groove.
  4. High velocity(small bore) makes low end and high volume(big bore) makes top end hp. I'd say you would need a stroker with port and big carbs to get full use out of the big bores.
  5. I had issues with my oil and fuel not staying mixed up good with premium. I just figured it was something to do with the ethanol.
  6. It does say on the sticker warning: run premium unleaded only/oil premix. It's always ran good with regular in it. I will definately be sure to run premium with the new timing plate adj to 4. Thanks for all the advice guys.
  7. Got my parts: adjustable timing plate by chariot and a flywheel puller. Put it all on my quad today and runs fine. It sucks though. I had to set it at 0 because I just filled the tank with regular unleaded and need to run it out before I mix up some premium.
  8. Does the coil, where it mounts, have to be grounded. Fresh paint between there = no ground.
  9. I'm guessing you mean tie rod ends? Yes they will fit your spindle.
  10. In the tech faqs on this site it says right at 1mm per degree of advance/retard.
  11. If he's not getting fuel to it, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to pull it around without lubrication in the engine.
  12. I know that yfz are the same thread but longer. I would say that raptor are the same thread and closer to the same length as a shee.
  13. Pretty easily done. You might have debris in your carb that is blocking your float needle from shutting off too. Both scenerios simple fix.
  14. Sounds like a lean condition due to air leak to me too.
  15. I did some work to mine and didn't put the crossover hose back between the carbs and it wouldn't start for anything in the world.

  17. Syncing the carbs is just a matter of making them do the same thing at the same time right?
  18. I know what detonation in my truck sounds like. It's almost a clattering. What sound describes it on a shee? Not being dumb, just want to know for future reference.
