  1. It sounds like an air leak to me. I think that even with tors it would do this too. It could be a stuck slide also. I think that with a stuck slide it would shut off though. Anybody else?
  2. My personal preference is k&n but ive never bought anything else. I would say that there are other filters that may be better and alot that are worse.
  3. My group is going to Waynoka in august, on the 19th and coming home on the 22nd. Should be a hot fun trip.
  4. It looks good to me man. As for a response to your original question, no, I'm pretty sure that a coil wire coming off wont cause your problem that you encountered.
  5. Chariot performance not patriot. Im a dumbass.
  6. Does it not hit all through the rpm range? I had it happen just off an idle and carbs were out of sink but the other one would kick in and run like it was supposed to. I guess if they are out of sink bad enough it could be that. I think that it's a vacuum leak.
  7. As for it not running right but it used to, clean the carbs. For the jetting you just need to play with it and get it right for your bike. Start big and come down.
  8. 4 degrees with the patriot adjustable timing plate and I like v force 3 reeds. I spend my money on fast things too!!!!
  9. Smaller carbs will give you back some bottom end. That will help your launch. If you only drag race you would be good with 10 paddle skat trak haulers but if you trail ride, the the sand stars would be better for you. I'm not sure if you timing up that high would be taking away some of your bottom end too.?.?
  10. Sounds like it could be either clutch or tranny issues. If the clutch wasn't working properly I would think it would still try to shift just grind or something. With the shifter being stuck it sounds a little more like tranny to me.
  11. I think that the coil where it bolts onto the fram has to be grounded.
  12. Nice car man. I have a 93 lightning with a vortech. Wish I had the red cobra to go with it.

  13. Is it just a fitment issue between the pipe and the pv end housing? Do your pipes have slip joints at the cyl like normal banshee pipes? Sorry just wondering. Could a person run the bolt on flanges off of a blaster and use all slip on pipes and have a wider variety?
  14. I would say either type of welding would be acceptable. Tig wouldn't splatter any and makes alot cleaner weld but mig would do just fine.
  15. Mine didn't fall out either. Reply and give your opinion on the results.
  16. The chariot is a really nice piece. I just bought one and put it on. When you are pulling the flywheel, when it comes loose it will pop really loudly like you broke something. I didn't expect it so don't worry. Get an impact screwdriver too. It might save you some headache on those phillips head screws.
  17. T-5s have been around for years and are loved by banshee owners everywhere. T-6 just doesn't even sound worth a crap man. Go with tried and true.
  18. When you pull your plugs to check them, look for little grey specks on the porcelain. They say on here that it's little peices of your piston, caused by detonation.
  19. Does it run right again? Thanks for the info on the screens. I probably wouldn't have thought of that one either.
  20. I only let my close buddies who I ride with ride my quad. I know that they can handle it.
  21. I'd check float levels first unless you know that they're good then go dual pingle.
  22. If you have fuel and spark, the only other thing missing from the equation is compression. Plus 1 on the compression test. You might have a vacuum leak on that side and running lean and melted your piston.
