Thats why I am bidding on it on my same name as here. I max bid the item a 2,500. I accidently set my reserve at 3.00 Ebay would only let me relist with my reserve in my listing. You cant relist with a higher buy it now because of the computer system they have.

Guys guess what. My dad is a top contender at my local track and is also the michigan ironman. He races cars. He just called me about 5 minutes ago. The track owner who is a friend of his said that they would only let me run the 1/8. I am not going to do it because I would be the jackass sitting there by myself at the light. I guess I am leaving the quad scene. All the sand drag tracks are to far away and I really wanted to start hanging out with my dad again. I am really sad. This just ruined my good day. So long partners I am going to post my shee for sale on her tomorrow. I will get pics. Its a 96 with .20 over top. 2into1. fmf fattys and turbine cores. All powdercoated. a arm and front skid plates. raptor plastic. new clutch and springs, cable and pirch. new brakes all the way around. holeshot on all 4. Full set of sand tires. Lockout clutch cover. No lockout though. ac nerfs with heelguards and propegs. Tether. Stock gearing. works front shocks. stock rear. All new a arm and swingarm bushings. No airbox with outerwear. I have gone through the entire quad. I dont know what I want yet. possible trade for sled or bike. It is very clean. I am located in michigan. Thanks for all the help guys

wondering what tire size. mainly height that I need to get my quad to hook and go down the quarter mile. I figure it is a taller tire than stock since I need all the extra gear. Thanks guys. I started dissasembling my quad tonight to start hacking my frame.

Thats why it has an ignition overide. A slight drop in rpm while you shift. Its faster than you pulling clutch and hitting the gear. If you have never jammed some gears your not riding aggresively enough. lol :biggrin:

A guy here at my home town shop said an airshifter will do it for you with no clutch. Just get a shift light. I was also told to gear it so I am in 6th through the traps at almost wound out. He said no sense leaving gears unused since I cant get a diff tranny right now. I was going to use huge gears and only use some of my gears. Then he brought it to my attention that a shee makes no torque so I will want to be in my rpm band as much as possible but not run out by end of the track. I have got a good idea of my approach. You guys help me out alot. Also. I was told to get a lockout. 1 ques. Does this keep the clutch from slipping? If not then why do I need it. Any used parts I may need? Post em if you do. wit Yeah Dont worry about the frame pics. I took a good look at the frame pics. That is alot to cut out. Not a problem though. here goes the hacksaw. My local Ihra track is a 1/4 mile. I think they are IHRA. I will look again but i am pretty sure its ihra and i know its 1/4 mile. Maybe they offer the 1/8. I wouldnt want to do that though because who would I race. myself. I need to go the 1/4 with the bikes and sleds. I have obtained alot of info about this stuff and I am going to race for sure. I am just worried the track will roll there eyes and tell me to get out with my wheeler. I hope this dont happen. I have alot of light parts picked out and all sorts of stuff I printed off from previous post and other pages. I will begin tomorrow. What rules do they have at the nhra tracks. just for knowledge. Maybe I should follow them just to stay ahead of the tech guys later on down the road.

Nice shape.--200.00 Stock rear shock. good working conditon-- 40.00 Pink shock covers--free to whomever buys something and wants them. Douglas red labels with good 8 paddle scat traks, and nankang fronts. small dent in one rim. all hold air--- 150.00..good offset. wide in the dunes Good holeshots on aluminum rims. One dent in one rim. rims still straight and hold air. all 4--- 150.00 I am sure there is more. I will add later. thanks guys.

I have a set of works front shocks. They are dual rates. Not new but in good shape. Good upgrade from stock. Let em go good price. I am getting rid of them because I am going to asphalt. I can post pics if you want. Later.
