4 mil crank

is the crank trued and welded and ready to drop in? How much time has been put on it? The rods in good condition?

I was able to pic up a 99 frame and 01 motor with broken rod through the case with yfz 450 front end and a stainless bolt set to replace all bolts for 400 bucks. Also got a swinger and stock banshee arms and stock carbs with it and a few other odds and ends. The juggs are stock bore and no porting but the thrown rod broke the cylinder wall skirts on the left jug. Definitely will be a project but its a start I hated being out of the 2 stroke game.

Hey I'm looking to pick up a blown banshee with no port work and must have a title. Or basically a project or a cheap one that needs some work. I'm also looking for a roller if I can't find a blown shee. It's going to be a slow process putting this thing together. Just wanting to see if anyone might have some stuff I'm looking for. I'm calling a guy tomorrow about a blown shee so I'll update this when I get word of it. I'm located at 43725 cambridge ohio. Willing to drive a little for it.

I second that they are very easy to work on. Don't have to fuck with cams, cam chain, valves anything like that. If you have some wrenching experience then you probably could have done the clutch yourself but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. You got a great deal in my opinion for 900 bucks. I can't find any running banshees in my area for that cheap especially year 2000+. And for the reliability thing. Just keep up with normal maintenance. Like said before as long as the person putting it together does it right the top end will last. There's a reason these things have been around since 1987 and are still produced over seas.

Ya at least pop the juggs off that ain't nothing but a few minutes of work. Is it ported?

haha, Yeah these pics are from when I was selling her so I got her nice and shined up and then no one bought her. So I had to part her out. Then I picked up my r6, and currently looking for a new banshee project.

cool head with 20cc domes adjustable timing plate good aggressive mx port stock carbs are underestimated, but 30 mm oko's perform really good and are reasonably priced. k&n filters with pod filters no air box +2 a arms I've used wicked a arms and they are great for the price. You can only get them on ebay a lot of people around here like them. Or get YFZ 450 arms they are basically +2 for a banshee. like mentioned get ya a -1 or -2 swing arm for traction and handling. What ever shocks you can afford re-valved and set up for your weight. pro circuit platinum pipes are great pipes Maybe even get you a lightened flywheel. Let your motor rev a little faster. Just some advice like stated before. Don't just go for power and speed right off the get go. Too much power without the matching suspension will just cause you to spin and never hook up.

I'm pretty sure once you go with a 7mil you have to trench the case. If that being true might as well go 10 mil crank. I'm pretty sure the cranks cost the same.

I think the silver rims are holding that thing back. Throw some black rims on it and I think it would set it off.

Take the same amount of money you put into that 450 and put it in a banshee and that 450 won't stand a chance. It costs more to mod a 450 than it does banshee's

def banshee for the dunes. and they hold their own in the trails. If you were strictly trails then the 450 is what you want but dunes the shee prevails.

My buddies TRX250R has a hotrod crank, 80 over wiseco piston, port and polish, head shaved, rad valve, LRD exaust, hinson basket, fresh holeshot HDs out back, and ITP baja tires in front. My mods are listed. On the dirt we were close. I might have gotten him a few times more. Then we went to the road and I was winning by a few bikes. Pretty good for a banshee with stock head stock crank no porting and stock reed valves. This kinda what you were going for? It still seems a little rambly.
