  1. Where you getting transferred to? There no way to keep it?
  2. What about a price on the stator alone?
  3. Damn brian sorry to hear you have to get rid of your shee. And yes I do regret parting out my last one. If I find anyone looking for one down here I will show them this one. Let me know if you are going to part it I would be interested in your carbs. I bought a banshee off this guy a few years ago. Good guy to deal with.
  4. He greyhound's them. I bought a frame from him a few months ago. Good seller here.
  5. There shouldn't be an air leak kevin put the motor together and did a leak down test and said everything was good to go. I'll try switching carbs. The last banshee I had was using a 2 into 1 carb on it. With dual carbs can you change one carbs jetting or do they both have to be the same? And they are the 30 mm oko's.
  6. Yea it fired right up in a few kicks. Break in went good and it was running hard. But now I need to do a little carb tuning, the left side doesn't sound right. The left pipe is blowing a lot of smoke out and the left plug is wet and the right plug is dry and a good color. I am at 160 mains and 52 pilots for right now I didn't have any 50's laying around to start out with. Clip in 3rd position air screw 1 1/2 turns out. When it starts to load up in rpm's and gets ready to hit the power. It starts to bog down and for some reason I don't know if it is me just being paranoid but it sounds like the left side is a lot louder than the right side when I let the engine wind down on its own. Any ideas?
  7. Just fired up my HJR motor waiting for throttle cable for breake in

  8. 4 mil, mx hardcore hjr port, custom cut 21 cc domes chariot head, chariot reed cages with boyesen reeds, +4 timing, 30 mm oko carbs, K&n filter with pro flow adapter, pro circuit platinum pipes, elevation 800 feet. I am getting ready to start this motor for the first time, I got 2 carbs from a buddy and one has a 155 main jett and one has like a 128 main. I know I don't want to start it with them not being the same. I tried to call hjr but he isn't in on sundays I don't think. His answering machine picked up instantly. So if anyone has any idea of what to start at let me know I am getting ready to pour in gas and radiator fluid in my brand new motor. Can't wait to hear it run.
  9. I need a throttle cable for 30 mm oko's. I bought a cable a few weeks ago and it doesn't fit. Anyone know where to get a cable for the 30 oko's? Thumb throttle not a twist.
  10. I think that is my stock cylinder 4 mil all black one you got posted up there. I should have her running here shortly. Thanks kevin!
  11. Thanks man i think it is going to look real good when it is done. And I don't hit 100 foot triples. I ride all trails with some hill climbs and such. Im not worried about the shock.
  12. Motor came back on tuesday it looks great. He only had it for about 2 weeks. But I had to send him some gears for the crank that I forgot to send. I got a full motor assembly, with bore/hone, 4 mil stroker, mx hardcore port, port matched cases, chariot head with 21 cc domes, chariot reed cages, 30mm billet intake with built in crossover, +4 timing, heavy duty clutch, moded shift star, and a pancake bearing. I had to get a few oem parts as I couldn't find a few of my used parts. It should be running in a week I am in the middle of a frame up build and will post a build thread with pics as I get finished. And yea I sent it in a tote. But you are only 45 mins away might as well drive it there save on shipping.
  13. Both sides of the top part of the shock are ground down that much. That is how it came to me from snop and they fit good.
  14. Doesn't look like much at all. Just enough for it to clear the mount. I will take a picture of what it looks like and post it later today if you would like. And HJR is a site sponsor there are some good motor builders that sponsor this site. Check out the sponsor's page.
  15. And the a-arms fit perfect. And the shocks I got from a guy on here Snopczynski. I believe the top of the 450 shocks need hit with a grinder for them to fit in the top shock mount on the frame. At least that is how they came to me from snop. And they fit perfect Thanks snop!
  16. haven't rode it yet my motor will be back from HJR tomorrow and there isn't any tie rods on yet. And the rear end isn't bolted on yet. It should be done in a week or so.
