I'm new to this site and it has so much info!!! Great place to be. Last year I bought a 91 banshee and it needed to be overhauled before I could ride it, pistons, rings, seals and gaskets, and carbs had to be cleaned out. I have ridden this bike pretty close to 100 hrs. since I have done the work to it only to use walmart two stroke oil in it at 40/1. Still has 145 lbs of compression and runs hard. The tranny uses dextron3 atf in it, walmart brand. The only thing that I do daily is keep the filters clean and change the tranny oil once in a while. I also use walmart two stroke oil in all my snowmobiles and I just sold one with over 5000 miles on, never to have done any work on the motor. I think that the oil from walmart is good and it does have the tcw 3 rating on it. At just over $8 a gallon I'm going to stay with it.
