  2. yea the biggest difference was the cdi and stator connectors on the early bikes.
  3. the problem with pounding on it more is you run the risk of screwing more stuff up and twisting it makes it worse. i had to replace one of my engine mount bushings because i got a bit too carried away. wd40 is also a horrible penetrant. it is a water displacer. nothing else.
  4. dont give it throttle. the choke doesnt work very well with the throttle open
  5. the sound did it for me. i love the couch of a seat too.
  6. if its never been out then there is a good chance it is seized in the sleeve. i just went though this on an engine mount bolt. you can carefully cut the bolt apart and remove the shock and then drill it out or just centerpunch and drill it while its in the frame if there is room. the bolts are suprisingly soft. just use a sharp bit.
  7. just let gravity do its thing. keep the res full. i do front brakes this way all the time.
  8. i have a head that needs new domes. one of them got trashed when a crank bearing failed. just call trinity for domes and the nuts for whatever studs you are running. $40 + shipping? pics in this thread http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=138981&st=0&p=1200612&fromsearch=1entry1200612

  10. so now you are trying justify it your disregard for the rules? PM him with your opinions or ideas For example- If the speed limit is 60mph and you get stopped for doing 70mph. Can you justify it by saying that in your opinion the conditions were safe for 70mph. no because the limit is 60 that is the rule/law. The fact of the matter is you are in the wrong, plain and simple.
  11. probably because you are all shitting all over his for sale ad. He is stating THE RULES, as posted at the top of the forum. FYI.
  12. you have to trim the intakes. mine were like this.
  13. We are about to get hammered here with snow. Hope it melts by next week.
  14. i think its pretty neat. put up more good pictures. with something odd like this it will help the sale.
  15. x3 welding does all kinds of strange things to aluminum, especially cast. if you are real paranoid, fill it with jb weld or similar and shape to suit.
  16. i need a GOOD stock crank. no slop in the bearings. shipping will be to 73852.
  17. i didnt have a quad until i graduated highschool and moved out.
  18. i am right south of there but wont have a running banshee by then.
  19. theres lots of good deals out there but they all get sold while i am at work.
  20. this could be but are you any good at it is the question
  21. Sounds like you are butthurt and making excuses too. There are ways to make a banshee more trail friendly. I would venture to say you probably cant ride worth a fuck nor know your ass from your head.
