  1. how much have you ran it? if all you did was idle around then chances are the rings didnt seat and its likely they never will. The last few times i put mine together the compression didnt change drastically between the time i assembled it and after i rode it the first time. make sure your jetting is close and go rip on it a little bit. what gaskets did you use?
  2. you will have to replace the sleeve and the bolt. you drill the ends off so you can get the a arm off. you could use a die grinder if you are careful. I tried alot of things to save the bolt in mine. easier just to buy a new one from bikebandit.com for $4 i think they offer the sleeve too if your rebuild kit didnt come with them.
  3. i had to cut mine off. since you want to reuse the arm, center punch and drill both ends of the bolt off.
  4. just hit the nut with an impact once to make sure
  5. everything you just mentioned can be found in the search including a link with dyno numbers just by searching "serval". it does seem to have some growing pains though.
  6. i have 2 new ProX cast pistons . I bought them for another set of cylinders that the retard bored too far so the rings are junk as they were filed to fit that bore. he also lost at leat one package of the circlips but the pistons and wristpins are there ready to go. rings can be found all over ebay for these pistons. $75? these are the quality cast pistons, not the chinese namura shit.
  7. follow the wire for the parking brake back to the cdi box and remove it there. keeps it from shorting out in the future. thats a real fun one to figure out when you are riding.
  8. good stuff right here. they are not that vinyl shit you get at the hardware store that gets all soft when hot. i have about 15 hours on mine with no issues.
  9. i would say they are probably off an OEM application like a small 2 stroke dirtbike.
  10. on a new build a couple things come to mind- 1-the flywheel key sheared off. 2- pickup coil loose 3- shorted wire or loose connection.
  11. stay away from the cheap ebay shit. there is a reason that turbo kits are so expensive. www.theturboforums.com read up!
  12. i had a 14t i could have welded a couple extra teeth on for free.
  13. at 66mm on stock cylinder you are nearing the end of their life.
  14. yea good thing it didnt come apart on the big end. me and the bike would have been toast!
  15. yep! now i noticed i can easily drop a main size or 2.
  16. They are in the same category as a cpi. I run them on my dune ported stock stroke they pull forever. i usually chicken out and shift. a few run them on servals and the like. borrink has some threads here on BHQ with his contact info. DO NOT BUY ANY FROM MINKIA38 aka MOTORCITYATV on ebay.
  17. thats a pretty good thought actually. the tors was just a halfass fix. FWIW and i know some people like them but as far as i am concerned most mikuni carbs are junk. the one on my dirtbike pisses me off about everytime i ride it. when i replace it with a 38mm pwk i am smashing that bitch with a hammer. the ones on my motorcycle work ok most of the time until they mysteriously get dirty and it refuses to start in a parking lot somewhere. that bitch is kick only too.
  18. you can also use a capacitor in place of the battery to keep the voltage regulator happy. i cant remember or find the info about it but a google search might turn it up. i am ditching the battery in favor of the capacitor.
  19. one thing i noticed with my r2's is they do not like fuel off the pipe. i leaned mine out alot in the lowend and they came on sooner and cleaner.
  20. they are a mod to top pipe. NOTHING like a t5.
