  1. open both bleeders and let gravity do something other than make you fall down when drunk. just keep the reservoir full. if your bleeders are loose in their threads wrapping teflon tape around them helps keep air out.
  2. bottom goes to the radiator and the top is the vent.
  3. ride around and listen to the pipes as you ease into the throttle you can tell if one side picks up before the other.
  4. sometime around 05 or 06 is when the ball joints changed. i dont remember exactly but looking the applications up on bikebandit.com will show the change. the early ones are the same size as a banshee. stock yfz tie rods are about 1.5inches longer than banshee tie rods. i ran fullflight banshee +3 tierods with my yfz a arms to keep as much thread in the tie rod as i could.
  5. spray a little light oil on the threads. i like wd40 because it washes off easy.
  6. I am out of state for work or i would probably stop by. stay cool out there.
  7. i havent took them apart yet at the bike is 2000 miles from me right now but i kinda figured on putting them on the lathe and making a groove for the oring when i tap the holes for bolts.
  8. it just looks wet all the time where the end cap meets the body.
  9. i noticed it too i am gonna drill and tap the holes for some small button head bolts. mine also leak oil a bit too though that doesnt bother me much.
  10. If you want a hard running bike you need to run it hard from the start. running it at mid rpm like was mentioned would be the worst thing for it. AKheathen has it figured out. you need to kick until the needle stops moving on a compression test.
  11. not sure what engine you are referring to but my yz490 shifts pretty decent.
  12. People like you should die in an electric blanket fire.
  13. if your radiator cap is functioning properly then it will draw the coolant back into the engine when it cools off. this technology has been used for at least the last 30-40 years on many types of vehicles.
  14. google how an ignition coil work.
  15. whats the power delivery like? were you running the cpi pipes in your picture? has the crank been welded?
  16. just remember that if it does puke you will need to add coolant.
