  1. I am not the first to come up with it, its been done for years but no one gives out details and its possible everyone does it a little different.

  3. Both have to be modified in different ways and those modifications vary depending on what style of basket you run. I had a thread on it but got sick of the retard pm's about it so i deleted it awhile back. it was in my stock cylinder for like 2 years and now lives in my 392 cheetah so its able to take some abuse.
  4. I run 8 plates in my 7plate Hinson with the stock hub and pressure plate.
  5. I'm not doubting that your riding is hard on shit but I guess so is hammering the throttle in the sand, especially when doing a wheelie and the dune guys aren't on here reinventing the wheel...
  6. My response was to your post about what you got out of that article. piston availability is a moot point on a stock cylinder and the longer rod actually opens up piston options if running a stock stroke cub or cheetah with a 68mm bore.

  8. i dont think it would have made it past first start. i have a pair i used to practice on that you could actually see where the ring bounced when the exhaust port closed. it left 'ripples' in the cylinder wall.

  10. you might call mull engineering and talk to them. they can recut stock heads.
  11. Its normally dry enough out here in the desert the mud doesnt hang around long. the sand doesnt pack so if theres a bit of wind it dries fairly quick. Also fuck mud. went and fixed a couple wash outs and a road today in that shit. about got a little front wheel assist tractor stuck. 3 1/2 inches of fuckin rain in a few hours last night.

  14. +1 on the left handed bit. Do not fuck with the easy out shit. You break that fucker off and you are fucked. The shop I work for won't touch any thing with an easyout in it.

  16. Ive tried a few. Yamalube isnt bad but it leaves alot of carbon on shit. (synthetic?) Castrol 927 is good but the spooge that oozes out everywhere is ridiculous. (straight castor oil) My vote is for the Klotz Supertechniplate. Best of both worlds. burns pretty clean, the powervalves on my junk dont seem to mind it either. smells fuckin awesome especially mixed with racegas.
  17. depends on where you ride and how you like the bike to hook. i ran 9 extremes on my ported 350 and now my 392 cheetah. they were a bit much for the 350 but about right for my cheetah. i dont have experience with the brats so my vote for you would be a 8 hauler.
