  1. Did you all put the spacer between the bearings in the carrier?
  2. Also rotate the carrier in the direction of axle rotation to adjust the chain. This way it naturally wants to stay tight.
  3. no. The rings in a 4poke are free to rotate anyways.
  4. Og rockets. R2s dont have the flat spot in the belly.

    KLOTZ?

Is there 91 or 93 unpremium?
  6. Matt does it as a service to the atv community not as a serious business. Its a side project.
  7. He does all my stuff. Handies, blows, and shockers.
  8. Truth. But then i also have his cell number....:-)
  9. Ive got a cylinder like that along with one i sectioned on a bandsaw. Its all about seeing where the meat is.
  10. Actually its not a joke and i still do this. Most recently on my 86 bmw which are notorious for seeping headgaskets around the oil drains. One thing to note is cleanup is a bitch so do it right the first time
  11. The gain just isnt worth the time. I finish mine with 320grit emery cloth on a slotted mandrel. A few years ago i watched a deal on acceleration enrichment theory (automotive) which talked about cylinder wall and port wall wetting. One thing that was mentioned was port surface texture. The texture is there to keep the fuel in suspension NOT to atomize it as is so commonly repeated on this forum. If the shit isnt atomized when it comes out of the carb you have other problems.
  12. Ive been tossing the idea around too cam. Ive got enough stuff for a stock cylinder engine. Turbos are nothing new to me but blow thru carbs would be a learning experience.
  13. Need a good polishing. You can see the side of the sprocket hub that i cleaned up. The plating is chipped on a couple of the tips of the sprocket hub as seen in the pics. Splines have always been greased and are in good shape. 75 shipped and you pay paypal fees. Do not pm me with "is that the lowest you will go" and BS offers.
  14. Shitty handling and ball joint failures are common results with this swap.
  15. the wait will be well worth it.
