Friday at the bhq ride a friend, jharader on here i think, rode his 421 cub for the first time with shearers after running cpis for years. He said the topend was all there and more but the midrange was definately flatter. it took him a bit to get used to it doing wheelies.

Next step is to drill them for proper idle screws. If it works its gonna be bitchin as 34 and 38 pjs are cheap!

Yea they are a little harder to tune. Not much though. Its because of the faggy idle adjuster they have (you turn the choke knob) It seems to play hell with the idle and midrange. I left them closed and synced the carbs then used the cable adjuster at the throttle housing to set the idle. Its not ideal but it seems to have solved the typical issues people seem to have. Been out on several rides with no issues. They jet like a 33pwk.

Them bitches ever gonna make them for the honduh 250 intakes? Kinda thinking id like some for my little cheeto. I dont like the abrupt transition from the upp intakes to the stock 250r reeds. Although ive been encouraged to try banshee cages and intakes with an adaptor. Just been trying to decide how to stuff the intake properly to take advantage of it.

They can but its not optimal seeing as how they have fairly high port timing.

Works great. Definately better than twin carbs.
