  1. In the process of going through my PWK28 carbs i noticed the "e" clips are rather ragged and need to be replaced. no one locally can get them that small. anyone know of a place to find them?

  4. i like how my toomey's sound at full bore. cpi's sound good too.
  5. Coming from experience, ditch the trinity pipes. i went to t5's and it make the bike 100 times more fun to ride.

  7. i run the yfz front end. take a bit to dial the shocks in but its a 100% improvement over stock. been to waynoka a couple times with it and love the way it lands off a dune.

  9. whats wrong with just wiring a dirtbike kill switch in and then bumping it to shift? it works but i dont drag race much so i took it off.

  14. funny story for you all. i replaced the clutch with a heavy duty one and it the instructions said to run 30wt motor oil only. started slipping with only 30 hours on it at a local atv event. up to this point i had only run atf until i replaced the clutch. well i still had 2 more days to ride so i ran and got a few qts of atf and tipped the bike on its side to keep the coolant in and took the clutches out and soaked them in a little gas, cleaned everything else up put it back together with some atf after flushing out the gearbox and no sliipage at all. beat the hell out of it all weekend with no problems.
  15. the stoic number for race gas is 14.7, same as pump gas. so idk how it would richen it.

  17. thats what i run, neutral is a little easier to find but the best thing is i dont burn up clutches anymore. using regular oil or atv specific oil i could kill a clutch in 6 months.
  18. because the rez is lower than what it feeds.
  19. i use led clearance lights from the trailer section and tied them in with the tail light.
  20. bad rings will very very rarely cause a 0 compression reading. sounds like its not getting are in. possibly the reeds are sticky/stuck?
  21. i used to run 927 but the oily residue and buildup on everything was unreal. been running yamalube this year and love it. spark plugs last way longer too.
  22. if you have keihin carbs they makes jets all the way into the 200's i believe so for most i dont think you would have to drill jets. in my case i was going to start with a 195 and go from there since i have 140's now. have a look here. http://www.keihin-us.com/list.htm maybe ill wander down to the atv shop today and see what they have for jets since im unemployed right now and dont have anything better to do.
