  1. Can you make that pic smaller for us. Thanks.
  2. That wouldnt suprise me. They are pretty cheap looking overall.
  3. Coasting at a decent rate speed with the clutch pulled in (maybe oil level plays a roll here?). The pancake bearing is a great idea but the simplest thing to do is dont pull the clutch in and coast for long distances. I dont run one (pancake bearing). Just never got around to it i guess and the most i coast with the clutch pulled in is down a hill into an idiot hole or whatever at the dunes which is a fairly slow roll
  4. An overly rich mid range can mask a lean top end to an extent. Slit your wrists and go the fuck away, seriously. This.
  5. Apparently if you drill the tiny ass fuel inlets out they work fine. other than it being a generally cheap piece of shit that was the only real issue with them?
  6. I bet you will end up around a 140-145 main and a 40 pilot. edit: also try a jjh needle. made a world of difference on mine vs the stock (n68a?) needles.
  7. fucking hate packing peanuts. i usually get the shop vac out and vacuum them bitches right out of the box.
  8. That is how my chrome LSR a arms arrived from a seller on here. one of the tie rods never made it. shit hanging out of the box, arms beating the shit out of each other.
  9. I did mine in a standard oven. I want to say the high temp stuff from powderbythepound i used bakes around 400-450. Be interesting to see how the clear holds up to the heat. I did hightemp clear on the intake on the moostang i had and it slowly turned yellow.
  10. Mine have been coated for a couple years. held up great except for the first few inches off the cylinders. its slowly burning off there. the rest of the pipe is still decent even where your legs rub while riding.
  11. night and day difference from a worn the fuck out stock rear? Fuck I hope so. night and day difference from a rebuilt stock rear shock? Possibly depending on your experience level.
  12. Not necessarily. I bead blast my stuff when im done so its smooth.. It doesnt need to look like someone ran a chisel over it to prevent puddling.
  13. If you arent smart enough to double check everything before running it, you need to buy a honda rancher. As far as the plug goes , if it rattled enough to kill the plug, the rod and crank bearings are suspect as well as whats left of the piston and rings.
  14. Noss machine, k&t, titan, redline.... Noss is probably as easy as any and they cut the domes for alot of different builders (though usually to their specs).
  15. Seeing as how we dont know what domes are in it or who cut them, lets not send him on a wild goose chase. When it bogs does it cut out completely (lean) or sputter/burble a bit (rich)?
  16. thats how they are on my cheetah. i think i did set them a bit tighter than spec but they work fine. are your float needles in good shape?
  17. I dont think alot of people know or pay attention to TDR. Fantastic place to buy maxload bearings and other bits.
  18. you have to float the ground on the stator regardless of where you ground your lights. Remember that the Ignition is also using the frame/engine as a ground and it is a whole separate system from the lights. In theory it shouldnt make a shit if they share a ground but I have seen alot of wierd shit caused by bad/improper grounds. Ive mentioned it on here several times but an evening or 2 reading up on basic electrical theory and the differences between AC and DC current WILL benefit you greatly on this. Understanding the why makes things so much easier when dealing with electricity.
  19. I want this. BHQ doesn't work worth a shit on my phone so I can PM you until tonight.
  20. Also you will want to run a capacitor if you arent running a batter to help with flicker at idle and keep the voltage regulator happy. some regulators have mood swings with no load. I run one sold on ebay for choppers/bobbers. Sparx i think is the name.
  21. You "could" ground the rectifier to the frame and then ground the lights but i ran ground wires, I have OCD when it comes to wiring. You can use the stock light switch. just make a list of what colors do what. theres a few wiring diagrams on the interwebs that show what they do.
