  1. temperate change makes a big difference, you cant expect the ride with the same main jets in all year round.. i found mine ran good in the winter with a 300 main with the lid ON, but in the summer its way too rich with the lid on, i took the lid off and kept the 300 main and it runs great. every bike is different... gota experiment a little, but with a k&n lid on there, which is almost the same as no lid.. u should be runnin at least 300 or richer,
  2. i run vf3's t5's , k&n in box with lid off, i run a 300 main, 280 was definatly lean with the lid off, this is at 750-1000ft above sea level
  3. ive seen +3 arms for the banshee, but never +4's... u sure u have +4's?
  4. so your magic non ported banshee is faster than a ported banshee...? hmm... either shitty runed ported banshee, or wasnt ported at all, makes no sense sorry, thats like saying you smoked a stock supercharged mustang cobra, with a stock mustang gt... makes no sense..
  5. and if your power band drops off in 5th gear then your jetitng cant be on, your bike ainr running right .. u should be able to lean back a bit and pull the front end up in 5th gear... got any air leaks?
  6. with 14 41 gearing it shouldnt really be a problem if your bike is jetted and running right.. i dont see them being any faster than any other of the 4 strokes out there... and a good running piped banshee should pull on any of them 3rd gear+ and be right with them off the line

  9. also there are sets of giant coal mountains, as seen in huevos 7, its like a 100 acre area of huge coal hillclimbs where u park, jumps, berms, whoops, huge coall hills. then u go up the mountain and it opens up to trails every which way ucould imagine, some cool resivours and stuff way back deep in the woods
  10. treverton PA, is where its at. mapquest it, its a great place. endless trails, u can go as far as u wana go, or i should say as far as your gas will take you.. its an amazing place if your into trail riding, real nice smooth trails too

  12. for about 450$ you can get some of the best quality a-arms on the market, armadillo, they are sold through rocky mountain atv, and are amazing quality, great powdercoat, can order option skid plates even for the +2's... they are top quality and great price, comes with all hadware
  13. personally dont like it,, it doesnt fit right and the front end sticks out too much sorry, i like the traditional banshee
  14. holeshot GNCC"s hookup awesome in everything from hard pack to soft stuff.. i duno how well they would do in deep sand though, im sure a V pattern would do better in soft sand but the holeshot GNCC is dam hard to beat for all around they make a 20x10x9 and a 21x11x9
  15. when u removed the tors did you unplug the big wire running to the little black box up front mounted to the frame near your radiator? your compression is very low too.. stock should be around 130psi each side i believe, year doesnt matter,u can have some 16 year old idiot on a 2006 with the jetting and eveything else totally off and someone with a clue on a 1989 that smokes it..you say u run a 250 main jet, banshees come with 220 main jets stock at sea leval..so did u rejet it?whats your airbox situation? lid or no lid? air filter setup? give some more details

  19. if u said u did a MX race with a stock banshee suspension and it was fine, then u got issues... hop on a 450 in stock form, not even set for your weight or anything, right out of the factory, and its worlds ahead of the stock banshee suspension, no conmparison, the front end on the banshee is absolutley hjorrible, all it does is nose dive and wana tip
  20. i razrs wear fast as hell , the razr 2's wear the best out of any tire i ever saw, they are tanks
  21. all racers and them use kill switch tethers am i wrong?? its clipped to you somewhere and when u fall off it unplugs and shuts bike down.. for safety
  22. when u say "ported.. 40 over" you meant ported AND bored 40 over right? alot of people sometimes confuse porting with boring, thinking when their cylinder is bored out that they got it "ported",
  23. thats one of the best , if not best banshee bumper ive ever seen, i dont like most of the aftermarkey bumpers they are all goofly looking, thatone is sweet
