cajun makes a good point, those 400ex's are 50cc's more, and have multicolored powerbands in 4th, they hit their torque band in 5th and take off like a rocket

when i got my first 4wheeler or dirtbike ever (blaster) the guy and his son came and dropped it off at my house onenight, i was all gungho to go rip it and it ran for like 10 feet and then bogged out and died and wouldnt start, i thought they screwed me or something, therew was still a tiny little bit of gas in it from the looks of it, but sure enough, i put a gallon in started right up and ran fine

i think you answered your own question inbetween writting these 2 posts.. have u tried putting some gas in it? i know mine has done the same thing, even when it appears theres a splash of gas left ... put some GAS IN IT
