  1. they need a chassis inbetween the 450 and 700 i think.. the 450 is kind of small, and the 700 is kind of big and tall
  2. brand new chrome t5's for $350... shit get em even if you dont wana use em... thats about $200 off.
  3. you are 1/2 right.... YES you do you need larger jets in the winter,,, but because cold air is DENSER than warm air is
  4. get used toomeys and a k&n, then id spend the rest on some used a arms and shocks unless you like trying to hang onto a bucking bull
  5. i think thats all rider cajun, haha.. i got alot less hp than you in my banshee and my front end comes up all day long if i want it to.little tap of the throttle and lean back a bit, and its all over the place..i think once you get that 450 front end off, and that front end is up higher, it will be wheeling alot more... you also got little 19 inch front tires too dont you?
  6. your shock is adjusted to the highest setting!?? huh? there is no ride height adjustment.. if you crank the preload nuts all the way DOWN on the spring, it will make it ride higher with you on it because itll be stiffer.. you wana be using the whole stroke of the shock though. you dont want it so hard that you are only using 3-4 inches of travel.
  7. so much bias bullshit on the internet.. on both sides, 4 streokers and 2 strokers... its all a matter of preference. some people like torque everywhere and some like high hp high revving banshees...its all about what YOU want...ive read alot of bashing of banshees on 4 stroke forums in the past, and its pretty funny... but the same goes for bashing of 4 strokes on 2 strokes sites by people who are talking out their ass... about their piped banshees beating ported, high comp 450s and shit..as long as there are both 2 and 4 strokes, theres gona be a fair share of dumb asses bashing both..most of who havnt even ridden what they are bashing. would i take a 450 over my banshee for what i do? no.... never.... but would i own both if i had the money... yes.. in a second. i think some of you should ride a raptor 700 or a few of the 450's before you go on bashing them and calling them turds just because they have valves..i bet you wiill be surprised and probably chnage your opinion... a piped 450 or piped raptor is just as fast as a piped banshee, and has lots of torque too... but they just arnt as fun to ride in my opinion, down the road im sure i will own a 4 stroke as well though
  8. never ridden the 06-07, but ill second the 04's being total dogs
  9. nothing like making a 9 year old boy eat his words... haha
  10. ummm eww. she looks like a goth freak in that picture ive seen the show mythbusters a bunch, and she is definitly hot on the show. that pic of her above makes her look like a 17 year old goth weirdo
  11. put the nut back on the end of the bolt so it sticks out over the edge and hammer the bolt out with a rubber mallet, try some liquid wrench or some shtit like that.. and by curbs i think u mean carbs? you need to get them in sync... its very easy. they need to be opening and closing together in sync
  12. well you kind of answered your ownm question... since you say the jetting was "Dead on perfect" during the summer.. its gona be leaner than the olsen twins in the winter.. and...its bologna
  13. not to sound like a dick but.... why ask questions when you dont wana listen to the honest answer? ive seen many people ask about boring their cylinderrs for more "power" and the answer is always the same.. waste of time, waste of money, only gona cut down on the life of your cylinders for maybe a couple hp..thats like my friend when he got his bored 20 over for cleanup and a new topend, he thought his banshee was a 370cc now, that was a good laugh
  14. amen brother! hope things look up for you... no matter how bad you think it is.. things can always be 10 times worse. remember that and have a good christmas! and smoke that doobie for me!
  15. ooooh nice groomed trails. wide, open.. i take back my last statement, get a banshee, you will love it.. your group of woman and 4x4's will hate you though
  16. honestly if your just putsin around on tight trails, with woman with you, a banshee isnt the best choice, youd be better off on a 4 stroke.. raptor, 400ex, ect. riding a banshee with woman and people on 4x4's on tight trails would be like brining a front wheel drive car to a drift competition
  17. he said your ASR arms suck dick and he hates new yorkers...as we all do.
  18. did you check to see if any was leaking out your overflows? i thought my banshee was eating an abnormally large amount of gas while riding oneday, and didnt notice till i stopped on pavement and heard the piss splashing noise of it leaking and hitting the pavement
  19. i thought the idea of a radiator was to flow air through it.. haha
  20. dont buy something just because i am telling you that you will like them. but i do think you will, they are cheap (compared to others) and 50 times better than stock, works AT steelers, theres lots of options to choose from though, preload adjustment, compression, rebound, rez or non rez options, spring rate options, single, dual, triple, ect ect.. if you are thinkin about buying some i would contact works and talk to someone about what you want, what type of riding you do, ect ect, i would suggest a dual rate, at steeler, with resivours, if you ride hard and long get the resivours. most places DO custom build them for you, of course if you ordered them from works they would custom make them to your specs, it will take a couple weeks, but worth it,im not 100% sure rocky mountains at steelers arnt custom, but i just highly doubt they have someone at rocky mountain sittin in the back waiting to build custom shocks for people as they order them.. especially because it says they are made for 150-195 pound riders, that just doesnt make sense.. they are supposed to be custom made. whatever you do, get the shocks custom made for you, night and day difference
  21. i wouldnt be so quick to drop $1000+ on some elkas, unless you can justify them. and they will set any model up for yuour weight and style if all you do is trail ride, with the ocasional small jumps/whoop sections, i think you would be plenty happy with a set of works for less than h alf that price, if you have only ridden with the strock front end, even a set of 450 shocks will improve ride tons, you dont need to jump right up to a set of elkas to get a good ride.
  22. to be honest.. i bet they arnt, on the description of the item, it sys 150-195 pound rider... 50 pounds is a big difference..i would talk to rocky mountain about this, it sounds like they are selling generic shocks , which is bullshit, and you do not want. a cheaper set of shocks setup for yOU will out perform a more expensive set of shocks that arnt setup for you, anyday of the week..if your gona buy aftermarket shocks you dont want generic bullshit, they SHOULD be custom built...id look into that berfore spending $400 on generic shocks they have sittin on a shelf right now
  23. man i dont think its sinking in too well is it? +2 arms DO NOT require longer shocks!!!!!!!! only STIFFER valving/spring rates because of the extra leverage/force on the shocks from the wheels being farther out. and yes those a-arms are great, i have a set, $70 more gets you matching skidplates! cant beat that. bolt right up, ready to go. as far as those non rezzy at steelers, thats pretty expensive, ive seen them alot cheaper than that.. i only payed about $100 more for the triple rate with resivours.. and it sounds like rocky mountain has them just sittin there in stock, and are gona send you a generic set for 150-195 lb rider.. you dont want that.. you want them custom made, ho9w they should be, to fit YOU
  24. guys i think he was talkin about a bed cap.. not a tunoeu (cantspell) cover , like yours wacko.. obvisouly you cant fit a quad under a tunoeu cover.. hahah
