yea get a 450 then, they got good power, great torque, handle great, great machines,, just not as fun to ride as a banshee, if i was into jumping and all that crap i wouldnbt be doing it with a banshee, aside from the horrible suspension geometry and heavy weight compared to the 450's, the power delivery is just horrible for hitting jumps

go with the 300ex, they are lightweight and extremely powerful machines, and they look cool

go on rocky mountain, they sell the world wide axle bearings for $5.50 a piece , may as well chnage them while its apart

never heard of golden spectrum, i have heard of golden spectro though :biggrin: , i used to run that when thats all the shop near me carried, the old guy there swore by it too, said hes been using it about as long as you, hes at least in his 50's, thats the only 2 stroke premix he carried and i bet thats all he still has to this day

yea they dont use 6 ply tires for mx.. all the guys i see in dirtwheels got those kenda sx or whatever they are called, the holeshot mxr4 or those new razr cross ones , those seem to be the most popular from what i see in the books with guys and their mx 450's and razr 2's only come in 20 and 22 rears , no 21's

after going from yamalube to klotz i noticed a 50% gain in power

finally put it on, had to use my friends porta-ban to cut a little peice from one corner so it would sit flat, i got it to mount up pretty good using 1 washer between the bolt and bottom of skidplate and another on the other side between the back of the skidplate and bracket, its on pretty dam good now, the only thing i am concerned with is one of the aluminum brackets is sandwiched between my frame and stator cover, and of course the motor rattles and is rubbing on it... im not sure if i can take any material off the bracket with a grinder, becuase its already pretty thin..ill take a couple pics in a bit and show you what i mean

ive seen a couple of those $60-70 renthal rear alloy sprockets get destroyed within days by a piped raptor 700, i would never use them

leave the 450 front end where it belongs, on the 450! i couldnt imagine someone trying to race motocross with a front end that looks like its straight outa flat track racing

put the banshee front end back on there.. the raptor plastics look good on a raptor. not a banshee, they dont fit right

if you guys have ridden in or driven even a stock rhino, i think you would be surprisingly impressed... obvisouly they are no speed demon on the straight aways.. even the new 686 efi im sure isnt much better than the old 660.. but the way they are geared they move pretty goood, they will climb some NASTY hills, straight up, rutted, rooted nasty hills, they are great on the trails, they can go just about anywhere a quad can go and they ride pretty dam smooth even totally stock, they are great machines and take a hell of a beating and keep on goin

so pro circuits are great low end pipes?

why dont you go to a hardware store? they have every kind of bolt you could want,you could put that stainless set together for half that price
