  1. $18 a quart!!!!? i use supertechniplate for like $9 a quart
  2. not sure if i wana enter in the poker run, but id still like to go up that weekend and check everything out, well see
  3. i call horse shit as well but if you happen to actually try it,, i think your nuts so either way you lose in my book!
  4. i second that, except havnt ridden a new ktm, i think that 525 is probably pretty nasty
  5. not even close, dont ride it like that with the 200 mains in, its lean as hell, with fatties, k&n (depending on your air box setup) you should be around a 300 main at sea level, 4th clip down on the needle,1.5 turns out on air/fuel screw, ive heard fatties like a bigger pilot too, so maybe even a 27.5 pilot, thats a rich starting point youll probably end up leaning out one or more circuits, but always start rich and go down
  6. on my bike, their recommendation of 4th clip down was too rich, i moved it up one to the 3rd, and it made a big improvement in low end bog,i doubt the 4th clip is to lean, if anything itll be too rich, your gona have to try yourself and see what works best for you though, only chnage one thing at a time, this is their toomey needle i am talking about by the way
  7. its all stock but has aftermarket carbs? how big? no you wont have any problems with it overheating, i ride 100 degrees some days for hours all day long.. just dont sit there and do burnouts like the fags on youtube do, as far as fouling plugs, you will never foul a plug if its jetted right. whoever told you all that needs a kick in the balls
  8. cut a big hole in the top , through both layers of plastic,i did mine about 7-8"x4" then get an old outerwear would probaly work the best, and cover the hole with it, or like i did i took an old 2 stage foam filter, took the outer layer, cut it out to fit over the hole and secured it with nuts/bolts and little metal brackets to hold it down that i got from walmart for like 80 cents a peice, they are pre drilled with 4 holes in each one, u can get them anywhere, about 4" long, they work great
  9. set of pipes good air filter and adapter plate good tires then when you get the cash, fix the front end, new a arms and shocks
  10. if they havnt worn the paint off your springs yet...you havnt had em on long enough i hate shock covers...i think they do more bad than good
  11. www.everything2stroke.com lot of cool guys, threads move along fast and alot less hostile environment ! those 2 u posted are garbage, if u have banshee questions, this is the place to ask them, or everything 2 stroke
  12. sounds like PA to me! sounds like something worth checking out
  13. ah ok i see.. so veryone just cruises at their own speed ? is it a bunch of fat old guys on 4x4's?
  14. so how does it work? a big race through the strippins? anyone can enter who wants to? i s there different classes? is the beer and food included in the price :woot: ? anyone gona go?
  15. oh im sorry, i mis read then,, yea banshees are very reliable , as long as they are put together by someone who knows what they are doing, and maintained correctly, jetted right, ect, they last a long time
  16. if your mechanic is telling you your gona have your banshee in his shop every 3-5 rides, id find a new mechanic, fast.. thats a load of bullshit like anything they require routine maintenance and upkeep, and as long as you treat them right and keep an eye on things, they are just as reliable, if not more reliable, than any of these new 4 strokes out there
  17. how about one of those dash mount navi units like a garmin or tomtom or somethin like that? or you want the clean , classy stocker look dont you?
  18. all that trouble so you can put multiple discs inside? cd changers suck, i would always forget which cd was in which slot and then byt he time you get the one playing you want, you could have just hit eject and put a new one in 5 times, save your money and buy a fake gold emblem kit, i hear staten island hoes love that
  19. how would i know? its your bike and your askign me if it has throttle screws installed? take a pic of the carbs and i could tell you..your asking if you need idle screws?if the tors are removed, yes is your answer, but if you already have them, why are you asking if you need them?
  20. dont know how the twist throttle kits work or what kind of carb caps they come with, but once you remove the tors you need to install the real idle screws and u need the throttle cable that is made for the caps without the tors, did the twist throttle work with the tors on? or were the tors already off with the twist throttle on? if the caps are the same all you need is the throttle cable and idle screw kit which is just idle screws, drill bit and tap, if you have bits and a tap that size already you can probaly just buy the screws alone
  21. yea theres the pic, she certainly came a long way since then, shes lookin good
  22. try the needle on the 3rd clip. on mine the 4th clip was just too rich, i got mine on the 3rd and 2 turns out on the air/fuelscrew
  23. looks great man, you sure chnaged the way that bike looks from when you had the pics of it with the big yellow tow rope around the front bumper hah, looks sweet though, cant go wrong with black and red too bad you have a twist throttle, 2 into 1 carb, mud tires and eye ball headlights covers though....may as well drop a match in the gas tank and get it over with
