  1. the way i see it.. if your riding in such tight trails you cant have +2's even on a narrow ass banshee... that kind of rules out the type of terrain that would require long travel...right? not my banshee though, and those long travel ends do look fuckin sweet!
  2. why long travel for the woods ?! kind of a waste.. and +2's are fine, the banshee is already extremely narrow stock, i ride mine in the woods all the time and never have a preblem with it, +2's dont exactly make it a mx 450, far from it, do you really think you are riding in areas where you only have 1" of clearance on each side though? also take into account, most people you see on here with +2's also have deep offset rims to make it even wider , and/pr thread their balljoints almost all the damn way out to make it wider, keep em threaded in, stronger and narrower, go with +2's my opinion
  3. its spittin oil because your rich as hell, not because you run 32:1
  4. y9ou can crank down the preload adjuster on top of the spring, that will stiffen it up a bit, but make the ride harsh and traction worse, the only real, good way to fix it is a revalve and new spring for you as far as the other 2 adjustments, the compression adjustment is the little black knob your talkin about, controls compression, the other one at the bottom of the spring is the rebound adjuster and will control how fast or slow the shock rebounds, or pushes itself back out
  5. id leave the pilot alone, start with the neddle on the 4th clip down from blunt end, and try a 270 or 260 main since you have the lid still on the airbox, its all trial and error
  6. you could wait around for some more opinions from kids that have no idea what they are talkin about, or listen to the guy who knows his shit.. id go with option 2
  7. pennsylvania coal/shale was the main culprit , they would be great tires for trail riding, on dirt and only dirt , but either way, i wont recomend them to anyone after the ordeal ive been through with mine, i got 4 soft spots on my sidewall of my back left tire, i can poke my finger into them like a dam balloon... if you want tough trail tires, razr 2's !!!!! fuck itp, garbage products and garbage customer sales reps
  8. well just called ITP, been plannin on doin it for a while.... what a fuckin waste, the guy on the phone was a total douche bag, smart ass little jerkoff to me,, basically told me that i need to SEND THEM THE TIRES BACK, so they can "inspect" them... i told the guy id send him a picture of the egg sized buldge int he sidewall and he said no he needs to see them physically in front of him, or i can take them to a liscensed dealership, and PAY THEM to dismount my tires, and check the inside and outside and verify that what im saying is true.. THERES A HUGE FUCKIN LUMP STICKIN OUT THE SIDE AND ITS ABOUT AS THIN AS A CONDOM! WHAT MORE PROOF DO THEY NEED, so basically i can either pay $100 for a yamaha dealer to unmount them and say "yea these tires are fucked" or i can spend $30-40 in shipping to send them back to ITP and probably have them tell me its my fault somehow.. so either way, im fucked, ITP can suck my sweaty nuts, the guy on the phone witht he biggest smart ass ,know nothing, douche bag that ever worked in customer service, its so eaSY to be a smart ass over the phone!!!!im fuckin livid
  9. push the throttle harder.. i can take a pic of mine , only about 10 rides old, they are pathetic, and have soft spots in the side walls, i never noticed untill filling up last time with air before a ride, and noticed a buldge in the sidwall about the size of the top of an egg, sticking out an inch or so.... $84 a tire... 10 rides later... im up shit creek without a paddle... im gona try to call ITP and see if they can do anything for me... seems like i got bad set maybe? i love the fronts though..
  10. mark the gift box? is this some canadian slang?
  11. hate to be the asshole, (i hope the guy is okay, never wana see anyone get hurt) but the way assholes ride up there, uim surprised this doesnt happen once a week, so many half drunk derelicts running around, full speed through dust, can only see 10 feet in front of them, they dont care, they are more concerned with impressing the couple buck tooth hillbilly bitches sittin b y the cars to worry about their safety or anyone else there..hopefully johnny law wont start showin up, ill probably start parkin back in the woods everytime i come now, just incase
  12. either way. still a slush box, fine for a truck, but no fun,not for a car like that, is he vette gona be auto too?!
  13. nice mustang, too bad its an automatic!
  14. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im not getting into internet debates anymore
  15. so ... which boost bottle is best anyways..?
  16. if everyone used the search button to the extent you guys wanted, there wouldnt be many threads on here other than "post your banshee pics"... not trying to be a dick, just the truth, please dont hate me djoajoer!
  17. no, youd be bottoming out on everything, i have put my standard +2+1 with stock length work shocks front up nose to nose with zach's 450 front end (when he had it),..they were the same width from eye, maybe his was 1/4" wider on each side. who knows, who cares, but his was at LEAST 2 inches lower, probably more, and the bottom of his a arms and f\rame had the scars to prove it
  18. 41 is stock try a 13 front and bang it into 3rd as soon as you can
  19. another one of these threads... whichever one crosses the finish line first, will be the one that wins.. that is the answer to every thread like this stock VS stock, the raptor definitely has more power, and so it should..
  20. yea gncc's do hook up pretty awesome but wear down way too fast
  21. depends on the price if its real cheap go for it.., but by the time you get the a arms, and shocks, shipped to you, im sure you are lookin at , at LEAST $500 right? the way i saw it was save another $500 and get a front end that is made for the banshee, a arms with the right geometry, and shocks that are built for your , youll be happier in the end that you did, i cant see justifying spending $300 or whatever on a pair of USED a arms that arnt even made for a banshee.., and very weak shit at that, ive personally seen them crumple like soda cans from small crashes that even a stock a arm would shake off, same thing with the shocks, how much are they goin for, 150-200$? i just dont get it,,youd need to spend another $150 or so just egttin them revalved to ride halfway decent, a couple hundred more $ and works will custom build you a set, with re\zies, multi rate springs and be setup for YOU, and they will ride way better, the cheap way isnt always the best way... but then again if you could pickup the whole front end, arms , shocks and tie rods for around $300 or so id do it... anything past that and u may as well save a little money and get some quality
  22. armadillo's come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects *meaning you cant roll it down a mountain and then ask for new ones*, but if anything breaks, rocky mountain will replace it no questions asked, ive already held them to it on 2 brand new balljoints ,even though i got in a crash and it was my fault, i said they just "bent" haha, they stil overnighted me 2 for free,no big deal, so if you decide to go for lower priced ones than the roll and all those *($500 or less), id highly recommend them, they are like $480, silver vein p coat on arms and rods, +2 +1, all chromoly, and the only +2 a arms ive seen for the banshee that they make skid plates for, $70 more, well worth it, id have to say they are alot better quality than alot of the other bargain a-arms on ebay and around
  23. list all your mods, air filter, air box setup, elevation your riding, and current jettting, for someone to be better able to help you get rid of the tors and get a real air filter as well
