  1. ive seen quite a few posts around the forums of guys who snapped wheel stud extenders, i mean think of the force that is being put on those stock studs when you extend them out farther, they are not meant to handle that, its like using a pipe on the end of a wrench, same idea, tons more force = broken neck waitin to happen
  2. i shouldnt have slipped in the comment about reading alot of bad reviews from guys about amsoil, i should have known better than to open that can of worms, haha my bad, everyone has their preference as far as premix, amsoil and klotz seem to be the top 2, premix isnt your problem though, and if your running rich and fouling plugs, runnin less oil in your gas isnt gona lean it out, thats not how it works
  3. if your banshee went from bone stock ,(boost bottle dont count) to all the mods you listed now, i couldnt imagine it being anything other than very lean, like they say "lean is mean" untill it blows up, unless it was beyond rich before, but if it was rich enough before to support all your mods you have now, without changing, it would have been noticeable and ran like shit,a stock banshee has 200-220 mains in it depending on where you live, so where is your jehtting at right now? main? needle? poilot?
  4. those toomey needles are rich as hell on the 4th, i run mine on the 3rd with the lid off and a k&n, take your lid off if its not already off, and try again
  5. i think the 'sickest trail bike around' would include power valves, either way you better set aside some money for suspension or itll be useless if you want low end pipes, i hear the PC are the best around for low end grunt
  6. yep, if u can afford new tires every 10 rides, get some holeshots, they hook awesome with that soft rubber, split knobs, the gncc's have amazing traction! but if you dont have money growin outa your ass, i suggest some razr 2's for gncc type riding, they are tough as nails and will lost a long time!

  9. milk chocolate brown , as people always say, is not what you want your plugs to look like, thats rich couldnt tell ya the proper float lvl for those carbs, as all i got is the stockers :-) but you can check the little things, see if they are sync, idle screws in sync, air/fuel screws both set correct, could contribute to one side smokin more than the other read the plug chop thread and itll tell u how to get the mains dialed in, get them set and then go from there
  10. ive read alot of posts on here and E2s, about amsoil being total crap and motors lookin like crap after using it and tearing down after the season, and there being absolutely no advantage (except saving money_) to running such a lean ratio mixture, some of the more knowledgeable guys ive seen post that bikes they have tested actually make more power wiith a 32:1 mix, please dont attack me, im only stating what ive read from alot of knowledgeable guys- either way i wouldnt wana risk blowin/lockin somethin up over an ounce of oil per gallon and to the OP - read the plug chop thread and it will explain how to fine tune your main jett, no one can tell you anything from looking at a 2 hour plug, get your main jet dialed in and go from there with the rest,, if i were you id ditch the ai4r box lid and jet accordingly, they cant breathe with the lid on, weather the snorkel is on or off

  14. your main will prob be somewhere 270-280 , 340 is huge, especially with a k&n lid whats a stage 4 carb kit?
  15. 1995 banshee here, fmf pipes, k&n filter, jets, tornado fuel savers and a few other small mods.. what ratio should i run in my gasoline?

  20. i dont think 99% of the people on here need $700 a arms, thats just my "2 cents", but whatever floats your boat checkout the videos of "DDQ" hittin 100+ foot jumps on a yfz450 front end and a banshee, meanwhile you got so many idiots out there with 450's and $3000 front ends that wouldnt even hit a jump half that size , overkill is fine if you got the money and wana "look" cool though
