  1. wasnt correcting you climb, i know your on top of your shit  was talkin to that guy about the dealership he said put 280s in a stock shee, thats nuts! PS: dont put 32.5 pilots in it!! dont do it!!! haha
  2. ) What type of aftermarket exhaust do you have? t5 2) What type of airfilter do you have? k&n 3) Are you a)running a stock airbox with lid stock airbox with NO lid c) Stock airbox with vents d) no airbox at all lid with big 8x4" hole cut through both layers, snorkel off 4) What is your elevation? (If you don't know, go here: http://www.topozone.com ) ride at 500-1000 ft 5) What size pilot jets are you using? stock 6) What size main jets are you using? 280 7) What temperature is your Banshee jetted for? 70+ 8) Do you have a port job? stock 9) What kind of carbs? stock 10)toomey needle 3rd clip 11) 1 1/2 turns on air fuelscreqs
  3. stock pilot will be fine, especially at that elevation!! start at 300 main and work down, read the plug chop thread, stock needle try 4th clip to start, and lots of threads about how to set your air fuel screws correctly edit* - he has the stock air box i see, so id start at 280 and work down id try to talk him into takin the lid off or at least cutting a big hole through both plastic layers so it can breathe a bit and then start with 300s and work down
  4. if it was jetted for "high altitude" they would lean it out, not richen it up, stock banshees come with 200-220 mains depending on where you get it, 280s in a stock banshee is crazy!
  5. haHAHA JESSUP !!! no way! shit man id love to come fuck around for the day with you guys ive been up there tons of times and could show u come cool spots, its only like 90 miles from me, but my douche bag friend has my coil, FUCK!!
  6. what a fuckin douche bag... just what this site needs.. another one ive been running for about 3 years without one.. i keep my chain slack right, and never have any problems
  7. another chin strap.. yep you guys are frmo jersey .. haha
  8. screw the banshee 350, go for the twin , 700cc. much faster and is it just me, or does every dumb ass tryin to sell a used banshee claim the motor has been "punched out" out, then they say some number thats usually at least 400 cc's
  9. i dont think there is a such thing as a GOOD graphics kit, the best graphics are no graphics!
  10. please dont compare a banshee to a vtec ever again!!
  11. well the 2 ive worked with have both come from the dealers, stock, with 220's, get off my ass you homo... my info came from real personal experience, yours is copied and pasted from someones elses article,, good work, tool ive jetted 2bone stock banshees with k&n's, both were a bit rich at 240 in summer, shoot me...
  12. yea you guysd are right, nm im retarded, i had the chain guide on with the stock skidplate years ago, broke the stock skid, got a used aftermarket one from a friend, couldnt fit the chain guide so had to take it off, have gone through 3-4 skids since but lost the chain guide years ago., i guess it isnt a big deal though, i never have a problem with throwing a chain or skippin teeth or anything, as long as your chain slack is kosher you have nothing to worry about
  13. at your elevation, and guessing you are at least 70 degrees or sotoo, id say you wouldnt need bigger than a 240, but of course only you can know for sure with a plugchop, good luck enjoy
  14. ok now your just being a douche .. your the one who gave out bogus info all i did was correct you..i never said he didnt need to rejet, but i did say he didnt need to bump the main 4-6 sizes like you said in your first post, read my other posts, i said plug chop it and guessed maybe a 240 because i remeber thats what i used to run in mine with the stock pipes and a k&n , did i say anything wrong this time sir? maybe you are the one who needs to go back and edit your posts and stop being a dick i was just tryin to help the guy..
  15. no u dont need the chain guide, pretty much every aftermarket skidplate makes it impossible to run the chain guide anyways
  16. i used sea level as an example because it will require the richest settings, thats all, just an example...
  17. its "almost" the same as taking the lid off,,, only less air.. even with the lid off and a k&n filter you dont need to go up 4-6 main jet sizes... a stock banshee has 220 mains at sea level correct? so he should run 260-280 main with STOCK pipes? sorry NO WAY, the bumping up the pilot jet one size is even worse though! dont do that! i cant believe other people are actually agreeing with this...if u plug chop it i bet youll be around a 240 or so with the stock pipes
  18. not at all.. but cmon.. "mx beast" haha i may as well go post my trail banshee up in the drag forum , i mean... i have drag raced a couple friends before, so its a drag bike now right?
  19. i cant help but notice after lookin through a few pages....... how could u consider half these bikes MX banshees? a pair of +2 a-arms and some shocks makes it an MX banshee? half these dont even have that... just a set of pipes and some stickers on the plastics... get real
  20. dhopkins - if your jetting is on, your plugs will never foul and turn black like you were talking about, and if you pull your plug out and its black, throwing in a new one is only covering up the problem temporarily, correct jetting will solve the problem all together , youd be surprised how much better your bike will run if you get the jetting dialed in, itll feel like a whole new bike and u wont have to chnage the plug everytime u wana start it chevy1500z71 : go over to www.everything2stroke.com , tons of blaster guys on there that know their shit, and that would be more than happy to help you
