  2. thats funny, a guy taking part in drag races would tell you that straight line speed doesnt mean anything... apparently handling doesnt either, or he wouldnt have bought a raptor 700...
  3. the transfer ports are about 1mm different, right? and it looks like someone tried to use a flathead screwdriver to get the old head gasket off
  4. i like mine. they work great.. i have triple rate AT's if i did it again, id get the dual rates, the banshee front end doesnt have enough travel to take advantage of triple rate is what i hear from everyone, they still ride 100 times better than stock though, im sure there are better more expensive choices, but for $450 its hard to go wrong

  10. wow what a douche bag... one bullshit move like that should get u banned from this forum..
  11. no theres really no play in the sprocket itself, the play is in the nut only, it has play forwards and backwards on the threads and it looks like a little in and out play on the shaft too, just like last time, im gona toss on a new one in a few days, and i just ordered a backup one and lockwasher from yamaha today, little fuckers are expensive, like $10 for nut and washer
  12. i use the handle to my floor jack... and bang on the end with a weighted mallet in circles around bearing untill they pop out if you dont change them often enough, they can be a whore to get out to get new ones in, i know alot of people sa to put the bearings in the freezer to shrink them, ive never tried it, never had any problems, just make sure the inside of the carrier is clean and u got the bearing races out (if they were exploded) and greese it all up good and they should tap right in, use a chunk of a 2x4 or somethin and tap on it with a mallet, never force them in wouldngt be a bad idea to do the swingarm bearings too while its apart and ur working on it, those and the axle bearings go pretty quick
  13. what is the purpose of the big flat metal bracket running across the side
  14. they are the same screws that hold the tank shroud to that gold metal piece around the bars, take one of those out, take it to your local hardware store, find one of those "find-a-thread" pegboards, find the correct hole it fits in, and voila, 30 cents later, you will have the other 3 to hold the rad shroud on
  15. i use the toomey needles , they work fine, yoour mains sound awfully rich though, and try to lean the needle out one see if it help
  16. rocky mountain has kits for pretty good prices, "primary drive" is what they call them
