  1. cleaning the air filter is one of the most important things u can do, it takes minutes and is cheap as hell, keep them clean foam filter can be cleaned in seconds washed in gas, and for k&n i just use their recharge kit, u can buy the extra big bottles from RMATV for good price
  2. sweet! im tryin to do the same, need to replace alot of bearings and shit well see what the weathers like - it could go back to 20 degrees again in 2 weeks or it could be 45 like it is right now, but im dyin to get out there or trev, ill keep in touch

  4. yep they are nice and tall, that was the deciding factor for me, of course the price too, i dont have one anymore, b ut if you have the big plastic housing and the key switch and that shit up there, there is more than enough room for it under the crossbar pad, if that gives u an idea how high they are

  6. i just buy them from one of my local shops when i need them, they shouldnt cost more than $20 whereever you buy them, and yes they have a welded crossbar, they are steel if course, they are handle bars and as far as handlebars go they turn when u turn em.. good enough for me, when u roll, they will break, not your steering stem, cheap enough to keep extras around
  7. agreed, any and every banshee needs at least +2's.. even with +2's its still narrower then some of the new 450;s.. the extra 2 inches on each side isnt enough to make it too wide to trail ride, unless the trees were previously 1 inch away from y our tires
  8. if its really really tight stuff the torque of the 4 strokes do better, although they want to buck forward and stall all the time at low speeds without the clutch pulled in, as long as u know what ur doing, theres nothing wrong with riding a banshee in the woods, if the trails are a bit open, then its even more fun
  9. i like the moose racing high bend atv bars, they are higher than the msr's and flatter bend, $18

  11. you could prob buy a good shape used carrier on here for the same price as the whole bearing and seal kit from pivot works alone, the first pic of the inside sucks, but if its as scarred up as the tube then id just buy a good shape used one and a couple fresh bearings

  13. they arnt fuel injected get real i meant i raced both meaning rode a 660 while riding with a 700 or viceversa, i think they both run great with just pipes on them, 700 feels like it has more top end than the 660, but than again that could have been gearing, pipes , tuning, tire size, or anything else i guess, but i think they are dam close with just poiipes
  14. past actions and words of other moderators on other sites actually made me realize how good this site is.... its one of the few where u can speak your mind without some highschool bully victim of a moderator sending you threatning pms. edditing your shit, deleting your shit, or even banning you for expressing your thoughts/feelings about things in a civil manner. im glad there are some sites where we can say what we want and handle our own problems without the aid of a bunch of idiots who usually do nothing but make things worse with their moderator crap
  15. to me , especially from a youtube video, they all sound alot alike.. are they a good low-mid pip? top end pipe? what are they and whats so good about them other than the silencer coming into one peice middle mount?
  16. yea 13 did me well,, i never use 6th gear where i ride and sometimes it gets tight, i dropped to 13/41 and love it, can launch 2nd easy now
  17. disagree 100% - a piped 660 and a piped 700 .. there isnt much difference other than ergonomics, the 700 runs a little harder on top end, but as far as low end torque i think the 660 is right with it, ive raced on both, vs both, and i really dont see or feel a big difference
  18. why would u wana go on e2s anyway? most of their staff has serious little man syndrome. alot of shit gets censored and removed and posts changed, its more of a social site than a source of info
  19. you always say this, but everything ive seen and done would tell me a piped banshee is faster than a stock raptgor 700 anyday.. i ride with one all the time, and on it, its no tuning issue, the pipe and fuel controller def made it faster but hes still neck and neck with piped banshees
