-
according to the bible.. i think we are all family.. technically inbreds..
-
either do i! "lol" maybe ill see ya up there this season?
-
well thats hard to say.. it depends on you ride, what you ride on, and how often you ride.,i ride on alot of coal and gravel and rocky trails, if i kept them off the coal hills they would have lasted alot longer, even wit half tread they still hook up pretty good, you have to see a pair close up to really get an idea how nasty the knobs on them are. ive run them for 2 seasons riding a little bit locally on dirt trails, and a bunch of times up in PA on the coal hills and coal covered/rocky trails and they have done pretty well, the razr 2s would have a bit more tread left on em im sure, but they still dont hook as good so..... heres a pic of one,, they dont do much justice though, u gotaa see em in person, i love em
-
ive run both and both have their strong points and weak points the razr2's are extremely durable, last a LONG time, the compound is kind of hard though, and the spacing is a bit close, the cleanout isnt thaty great, and they spin quite a bit because of this.. they are also a bit heavier than the gncc's also, my old bald razr2's weigh more than a brand new gncc i have, never mounted, all in all they are good tough trail tires though, but i dont think they offer enough traction for a banshee. they work alot better on my friends raptor, and they have the torque that the extra few pounds doesnt mean much i currently run the gncc's, i ran them for the past coujple seasons and will be getting a new set soon, (already have one i got free from them to replace the defective one i have) anyway they are great, compound is a bit softer, and the split knob makes them hook up amazing, the spacing is perfect, and the traction is great, they do ware faster though because of this, they are very tough, i have maybe 2 plugs between both rears and ride some nasty terrain, they are all around better than the razr 2's i would say, but they just wear out quicker, the traction is tough to beat for a 6 ply trail tire though, although the 20" are more like 19"s, they are noticeably shorter than the razr 2's on my friends bike, but yea.the fronts are great too, i was skepticle about that type of front tire will i tried, one, they handle and turn amazing, i love em, as far as the rears though, if you are lookin for traction go for the gncc's.. if you want the tire to last a bit longer and arnt so much concerned with traction, get the razr 2's .. or 1's even, but like somsone posted the other night in a tire thread.. what works good on one quad, doesnt always work good on the other, mainly speaking between 4 strokes and 2 strokes

pretty fun cars if its a stickshift  .. nice cars though definitely
-
stock jetting of the bike depends on where u bought it, mine had 220s when i bought it
-
yea 6 is wayy to much for trail riding, i run about 3-4 pounds, too much and traaction sucks, too little and handling suffers and u could roll one off the bead, play around with the psi a bit and see what u like best
-
fuck them, i watched my friend sit there with him thumb up his ass while in the middle of nowhere IN PA tryin to ride, tryin to figure out why both his intakes had huge rips all around where the boost bottle plugs into.. if there is no performance gain , i just dont see the point, its just soemthing for evyeyrone to point and laugh at, even the 4 strokes know what they are
-
more stress on balljoints/tire rod ends, spindles, ect , basically everything..more bump steer, more force on stock shocks = even worse than stock if thats possible.... i wouldnt do it, but to each his own and id never run wheel spacers for the obvious reasons too, but thats just me
-
id start with 280 mains, prob be a bit rich with ur filter and lid, b ut good starting point and work down, read the plug chop threeads if u wana get the mains dialed in perfect leave the stock pilot and theres lots of posts on how to properly sync your carbs as well as set the air fuel screws correctly
-
look idiot, im not here to argue.. what is your problem?? you just took this to a whole nother level for no reason, we are talkin about jetting, you gave BOGUS INFO, i corrected you, SORRY -GET OVER IT go fuckin whine somewhere else, i dont care..this isnt a popularity contest(i know to some of you it alwasy is), its about a guy tryin to get proper info about how to jet his carbs for a set of pipes PERIOD..., i dont give a shit who lieks me and who doesnt, you are saying i contribute nothing, apparently you dont read many of my posts...i help with things i understand and know about, you on the other hand, youre in a thread copying and pasting shit THAT IS INCORRECT , i dont care who wrote it, its incorrect ...you keep turning it into a popularity contest.. same old shit on this fuckin site, bunch of big mouths who use their internet rep to back them up.. get a life , if you have no experience with the question, and cannot contribute anything but to COPY >PASTE bogus infoo.. dont post.. anyone will tell you a stock banshee with pipes, especially with lid and snorkel does not need a fuckin 30 pilot and 300 main, once again, im sorry if i offended you, get over it man you sound like a bitch..
-
anyone running a stock bike with a set of pipes can tell you that you are out of your mind going to a 30 pilot and 300 main (since you are also assuming he has stock filter with lid and snorkel on his box.. you are even more out of your mind) have u tried that yourself and run it to see the outcome, my guess would be no ? .... im not here to act like a hard ass online(like you are trying to do) i just wana see the guy get correct info so his bike runs good and hes happy, is there something wrong with that!? if he puts a 300 main and a 30 pilot in a STOCK bike with a set of toomeys, it will run like a TURD! even if he lives at sea level . im not exactly sure why you feel the need to insult people, stick to what im good at? maybe take your own advice...dont just copy and paste things from a "FAQ jetting" section like a mindless idiot. if you tried that in real life, on your own bike, you would know that is incorrect info....., sorry you dislike me, carry on
-
what a piece of shit..
-
no clue what his elevation is,temperatures, air box, air filter, current jetting, etc, and he should go up EIGHT sizes on the mains? and 2 pilot sizes!?.. wtf.. yamaharulz u need to provide more info before anyone can give you an accurate guesstimate
-
first things first, i would get 4 real tires, cover the bottom in skidplates, and get a new front end (shocks and wider arms), then worry about going faster..if this is trail riding, you will be able to go alot faster on a bike with better suspension and good tires, then a bike with 20 more hp, with stock suspension and bald tires
-
i woulda posted about that a while ago.. thats fucked up.. and the rest of the people too.. why does no one make public posts about it? it seems its pretty normal for this to happen with him but no one speaks up because like somsone else said, hes an "oldschooler" whatever the fuck that even counts for.. a douche bag is a douche bag, who cares how long ago they filled out the form to join the site
-
whatever you do , dont use a grinder or cutoff wheel, unless the place is extremely well ventilated and you dont mind dying from the fumes! worst idea ever!
-
man i dont know how you couldnt like footguards! watch your friend run his leg over and get sucked off the seat once and you will chnage your mind !
-
i never run over 4 psi, im pretty sure even the warning stickers on the stock fenders say dont run above 4 psi , front or rear, it is really amazing what a couple psi difference does to traction and ride
-
so he didnt just pull the old disappearing act? hes answering your pm's with bullshit responses?... thats even worse.. you send him his shit, or reply to the public thread for all to see at least.. im sure he will chime in with some over-the-top story about how he just barely made it out alive from the grasp of some cuban drug lords from miami or something along those lines.. this isnt the first time ive read similar posts about the guy, but it seems he usually shows up in the end and makes it right one way or another... he will have a story for everyone to read and some more products for sale to pay his legal bills lol

i wouldnt mind a ticket if i was breaking the law, but in all honesty, the only 3 tickets ive gotton in my life, are total bullshit, 2 by the same guy who had a hard on for me for some reason... nothing hurts more than having to pay a ticket you know you did nothing for while the cop watches and gets off on it. its sick. ve had to take it up the ass from several cops who have hardons for teenagers when i was around 18-19 , we have some real sickos for cops around here, total abuse of power, i could go on and on with some crazy fucked up stories that youd think i was lying... so in all honestly... you broke the law you knew was a law, you got a ticket, oh well tough luck, its gay but they are just "doin their job", at least they didnt jump your ass and arrest you and say you hit them .. trust me it happens , and it would cost u alot more time and money than your no spark arrestor ticket, it sucks, but in the big picture... not really
