not sure how it works with the tors boxes on, but once you remove the tors, if the throttle cables are not adjusted evenly on top of the caps, its very very easy for one to be opening a split second before the other, the best way i found to do it, instead of really p ushing on the throttle hard, just tab it lightly, look somewhere in the middle of both carbs, dont focus on either slide, and stab the throttle , but not all theway, just keep tapping it, if you do it full stroke and fast you might not notice it, but if you tap it slightly you might hear or notice one going up and clapping back down even a fraction of an inch before the other one, or if you hit it light enough sometimes only one will be moving and the other one wont move a bit i gues the sync tool would be nice if you want them basically perfect, but you can get them pretty dam close by eye

yea if the person riding the 700 isnt used to it, they might be tryin to rev the piss out of it liek a yfz 450 or something.. you gota short shift the shit out of them and the torque is amazing, you think its gona bog when u shift up but it just chugs right through and pulls hard..it def takes a little gettin used to after riding a banshee gettin on my friends 700..as far as piped VS piped though, they are pretty much even through the gears

if you were riding every day, hard, with an extended axle, i could see this happening.. otherwise no, they usually last me one season, say april/may-october, or i make them last that long sometimes! haha
