  1. Yep confirmed with BHP, if you already have a motor using the 573 blaster pistons (for instance a 4,7 or 10mil cub with 115rods) this is a 100% drop in replacement, just improved.
  2. Im not sure what the original intended piston and rod combo the cylinders were cast for, it seems it is most likely the 115mm rod though. The most common combination seems to be the 115mm rod with .012 base gasket using the currently available blaster pistons. (this is for a 58/68 motor) At least thats the way all 3 of my 421 cubs and servals were set up. they were purchased from different vendors at different times over the years so it seems that is the "standard" so to speak. If you look on the CPI site, they have 58x68 cylinders listed for both the 110mm and 115mm rod, but when you open them up they are in fact the same cylinder they just list a different piston and base gasket if you use a 110 mm rod. That part i think you already figured out. The blaster piston commonly in use already has the higher pin height that this new piston has. Im gathering the differnce is mostly in the windows and the other mentioned improvements. Dimensionally its the same as what has been in use. So basically we arent using a spacer plate now and we wont be with the new one, its just an "improved version"
  3. thats the way oregon dune bikes are set up because a big part of their duning involves climibing out of "idiot holes" You go down there with a short bike and no real tires you can be down in some of them for hours trying to get out unless there is an easier way out

  7. absolutely, im fucking over polishing, so everytime something on my bike needs repolished i PC it instead. On oily shit, I precook it to let all the oil drain out of the pores, hit it with some acetone and recook just to make sure the oil is gone,then i blast and then PC as normal. works like a charm.
  8. Welcome to the fucked up design of the stock banshee carrier and chain adjusters. There isnt enough travel to get a full link of adjustment. This is just one of the reasons to ditch the set up and go to a round house carrier and swinger.

  12. In all seriousness, OGs marketing plan is brilliant. Forget all that bullshit they teach you in business classes, the customer is not always right and everybody knows it. We all have had to deal with dick customers at some point in time but couldnt tell them to fuck off like they deserved because we would lose our jobs. We like to see a train wreck so when a business comes out and talks shit it draws views. A happy customer tells maybe 3 people on average, a pissed off customer tells 20. And here is the thing, a lot of times we know that the person complaining is a whiney bitch to begin with, so instead of working against the business it works for them. When you see a friend that is "that guy" whining about something you go check it out. That draws attention to the retailer and attention leads to sales. Now the only caveat is the business must have a good product. When somebody makes a good product and backs it up, all the whining only pushes the good customers to buy more. However if in fact it all turns out to be a bunch of bullshit, after a while the business will just fade away. On this site we have seen a similar tactic used not too long ago by a builder who has faded away into nothingness. The interesting part will be if OG steps up his game and shuts up all the naysayers. just my .02 wich aint worth shit

  15. that would be a horrible idea, cars have proportioning valves to control front to rear brake bias. if you hook them both up to 1 master i see 2 huge problems. 1 if you apply enough pressure to get the fronts to work effectively you are going to be locking the rear constantly and 2. i doubt the stock master cylinder has enough volume to control the 3rd caliper. Stick with the way it was designed my .02
