  1. i have deleted all the t.o.r.s crap from my harness and i ran it under my carbs and up between them and it comes right over the top of the cool head. is this how most of you do it or is there another way?? also what do you do with the crankcase vent hose and the breather hose for the clutch cover? heres pics of how mine sits now.
  2. you should have just sent those with these pipes and my build would be a little bit shinier!!
  3. thanks guys. good idea on your mods of the stockers joe.
  4. getting ready to put the toomey t5's on the new groundup rebuild and was wondering what is the better way to attach the pipes to the frame? should the yamaha factory style front exhaust hangers be used since they have the rubber dampner or is it ok to use a set of aluminum hangers in the front?
  5. thanks for the answer. got my frame back from powdercoater today and start to drop motor in and realize some are missing. now i know im only missing one. think i will make my own since they are 13 bucks a piece! thanks for the help.
  6. on the front and rear motor mounts on the case, how many of the rubber dampners are there supposed to be? 2 on each side of the mounts on the case or just one on opposite sides front and rear???
  7. can you email me some pics of the front brakes please. lastnline75@yahoo.com

  11. sounds like the pipes that sold on ebay today for 177.50.
  12. if you buy a diesel just remember that thrun great but when they break they are fucking expensive. just traded my 02 duramax with 300,000 miles for an 07 dodge 4x4 dually with the 5.9 and i wish i had my chevy back. i have 2 dodges now, an 07 and a 99. i like my 99 better than the 07!
  13. pulled the carbs today and it has 250 mains and looks like 28 pilots, could hardly read the pilots. bike seems to have a bog down low when you first get into it and then it runs great on the top end. if the weather clears up i am gunna ride her tomorrow and see if it will clear out. thanks for the help
  14. as the bike sits it has trinity stage 4 pipes, K an N pods no airbox, stock carbs with tors junk. this is the wifes bike and i am trying to figure out whats the right size jets i need to be running. i am just barely above sea level.

  17. http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffman.htm Some good info on here for guys who are interested in doing their own buffing and polishing.
  18. The way Cal sells parts and handles his business should be a "how to manual" for anyone that is going to sell on the hq. Absolutely great guy to deal with!!
  19. what are the options besides sending them to cascade and having them polished for 95 bucks a peice? frame is powdercoated, front hubs and spindles are powdercoated. what can you do with these ugly oxidized front calipers?
  20. thanks for all replies but i have one coming next week
  21. to me it seems like the commercials i have been seeing for this fight are all in favor of kosh and they hardly give gsp any of the spotlight. just makes you wonder if they allready have a new champ picked out? you cant help but wonder how long before they get as rigged as boxing has become.
  22. yea he plugged all the holes when he coated it i guess its from the sandblasting. i tried starting a few bolts tonite and they wouldnt hardly start. hell i never thought about buying a whole set and just figuring it out that way. its my first rebuild and i just dont want to screw anything up putting it back together! lol
